Best Way to Buy a Car Pregnant! 5 Star experience!!! I would highly recommend Carvana. I was 9 months pregnant trying to upgrade from a sedan to an SUV. Going to dealerships was such 5 Star experience!!! I would highly recommend Carvana. I was 9 months pregnant trying to upgrade from a sedan to an SUV. Going to dealerships was such a headache and several tried to scam me into requiring unnecessary dealership add-on's. It was exhausting to the point that I was going to just put buying an SUV on hold until after the baby. I decided to give Carvana a try even though the concept was a bit foreign to me. The process from start to finish was SO easy and fast! I was so impressed with how much the employees care, it feels like a concierge service every step of the way. You can tell that Carvana employees genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase and they think of everything! They alert you if you put a car on hold, you can change your mind at anytime up until it's delivered to your driveway. I really appreciated the flexibility that if for some reason the car just wasn't for me, I wasn't obligated to buy even though they delivered it. Also, it was nice to test drive in my own neighborhood! I spent 4+ hours at the dealership each time and walked away frustrated and car-less. With Carvana, I spent less than 30 minutes filling out paperwork online from my couch and received texts leading up to my car delivery date. Once I decided to buy, it took 15 minutes to fill out paperwork with Kiara, the Carvana Rep. The car is beautiful and in perfect condition! I was very happy with the entire experience from start to finish and mostly pleased with their no-risk 7 day policy. When I decided to buy a car online, that eased my mind that even if I bought it, I had 7 days to change my mind and receive a refund. I didn't need to because I LOVE my new ride! Thank you Carvana for making the process better and no longer having to endure high pressure, over-priced dealerships. I compared your pricing prior to buying and it was actually less than CarMax, Kelly Blue Book Dealer price and other dealerships in my area. Thank you also to all the customer service reps who answered my questions when I called in. Everyone was extremely helpful! Pregnant or not, this is the BEST way to buy a car in 2020! More

I have had a disturbing experience with Carvana. The delivery condition was pathetic and the maximum Carvana would allow me was 100.00 which did not cover the cost of detailing. They refused to pay 206.00 for giving me paint smeared areas, filthy interior and took over 30 days to get the car. I exercised my 7 day return policy 19 June and have yet to have a pickup date for the vehicle while you sit on my 10,000.00. I am not able to respond to your text messages nor emails. Your company say's do not reply. That is not how I do business. The head room is poor for passenger. I have had no response to chats as of yet for a pickup date for the rav4 and no emails long call times of 30 minutes and no 2 contacts are the same. I'm told to chat with a much faster response time to my needs and questions and still wait much longer than declared. I am forced to keep full coverage on a vehicle I am not using and at my end. I am contemplating to hiring council to get action on picking up this car and a full refund of my 10,000.00, and yes, I paid the additional 399.00 for 3rd party pickup so because no one has called, despite my several requests, I am beginning to think this buying from you a vehicle was a very bad idea. I cannot and will not at this time recommend a company who has a one sided email sending protocol I cannot respond to, multiple persons when I chat and or receive a one sided email from you and no one person is keeping any one informed. I just received an email to give more information to get my licence plates when I have refused the vehicle within the refusal period. This has been a nightmare for me. More

Not completely satisfied I ordered a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica after totaling my previous Pacifica. The first hiccup was after setting up everything and setting a delivery date, I ordered a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica after totaling my previous Pacifica. The first hiccup was after setting up everything and setting a delivery date, I received a phone call from a representative stating that I needed to link my account to show proof of funds, I told him at the time the funds were not currently available in my account but that I have an agreement and an email of the date of deposit for the funds and if that would suffice. He said it should and to upload it into the documents and I did so. The day before my car was scheduled to be delivered I hopped back on and saw that the date of delivery was gone, they were needing me to reschedule after I had already submitted paperwork to them, that apparently NO ONE looked at. I just shrugged it off even though I was technically already paying for car insurance on a vehicle not in my possession. So, the day of actual delivery happens, Josh was fairly nice, walked me through everything, I pointed out a few things that were messed up, like the carpet being detached in the back of the van. Then he left. Once he left I was looking in the car again and noticed that there was a ROTTEN ORANGE WITH MOLD in the cup holder that is in between the seats, one of the headsets for the DVD players was broken, and there was a piece missing from a seatbelt in the back of the van and in the middle seats. I tossed the gross orange because thats no biggie, but I texted the representative who dropped off the van about the headphones and the missing pieces to which he said he would put it in the report. I haven't heard anything from anyone about this matter. I only got an email from from the warranty administrator saying I need to find a body repair shop that will work with them to fix the carpet and a paint issue. So I am a little disappointed with how the things I found were 1. Overlooked when this who 180 process happens and 2. Just disregarded when brought to your attention. More

There was, however, a pretty significant lack of communication from customer service representatives throughout the whole process. When I first reserved my car and put the refundable deposit down for it, I received a text message immediately after completing the reservation saying that I would be receiving a phone call within 24 hours with more information - this call never came. I eventually called Carvana myself after a few days and was told that there was nothing I needed to do at the time because the car was still being transported to their facility. Once the car was ready for viewing and I completed filling out my financing options, I received another text message, again stating that I would be receiving a phone call with information and what I needed to do next. Again, this phone call never came, and I had to call the customer service line myself to get answers for the few questions I had. Finally, I scheduled my car to be delivered to my house on Monday, June 15th, at 4:30 pm, and got an email confirming the delivery. I stayed at home all day that Monday, never received any phone calls or emails about the delivery, and 4:30 pm came and went with the car never showing up. At 4:38 pm I got an email stating that my delivery had been rescheduled to Friday the 19th. At this point, it became a huge inconvenience because I had scheduled appointments for Thursday the 18th on the assumption that I would have a car to get to them. It was very frustrating, and honestly baffling, that I received no communication whatsoever about my delivery on the day it was supposed to happen, and then only was told that it got rescheduled *after* the delivery was already supposed to have been completed. I had to play phone tag for most of the next day with Carvana advocates to figure out why all of this had happened and to try to get my delivery scheduled to a sooner date. To their credit, every representative I spoke to while trying to figure this out was very helpful, and when my delivery driver, Shay (from the Las Vegas facility), got in touch with me, she went out of her way to deliver my car on her own time, in order to make sure that I got it in time for the appointments I had scheduled; that was extremely helpful and I really appreciated her for doing that. So overall, the experience of using Carvana was good - the website was convenient and easy to use, my new car is great and in excellent condition, and customer service representatives were helpful when I got ahold of them. There was just a frustrating lack of communication throughout the process. I wouldn't even necessarily say the customer service was "bad", because every time I got on the phone with a Carvana advocate, they were very helpful. But it was frustrating to feel like I always had to chase them down for information, rather than having them get in touch with me first to proactively provide it. More
