Amazing, simple, and straightforward process from beginning to end. We purchased a car through the website, then picked it up at a car vending machine (SO COOL!!) and drove it home. The flexibility and security of the process is remarkable and I can recommend it to anyone. More
It is an interesting way to buy a car. Trading my car was easy and painless, except for transferring my license plate to the new vehicle. If you have any specialty plate in PA, you're looking at a loooo was easy and painless, except for transferring my license plate to the new vehicle. If you have any specialty plate in PA, you're looking at a loooooooong process (which Carvana blamed on COVID). (If you buy a car from a traditional dealership in PA, and you have a PA plate, your plate goes on the new-to-you car with a temporary registration in the rear window. The "temp tag" is removed when you receive the registration in the mail. Also, the PA inspection and emissions stickers are already on the car.) The so-called "inspection" that Carvana did on my car was incomplete. My Lincoln dealer noticed paint overspray when diagnosing a problem with the rear park aid and license plate light. (Fortunately, Silver Rock came through with the payment to the dealership for the problem, since the problem was not warranty related). Also, if you are trading a car at the same time you are having a new-to-you car delivered, you will need to have proof of insurance for the new-to-you car BEFORE delivery! This means you're carrying insurance for 2 cars at once (for 1 day). This requires multiple calls to your insurance company to "add" a car and "remove" a car, especially if you don't like the first car and opt for a different car. Stuff like this doesn't happen at a traditional dealership. There's a "good reason" why Carvana doesn't have "dealer fees". Those "dealer fees" that a traditional dealer charge end up taking care of a lot of the footwork that you have to do when buying from Carvana. Also, a Lincoln dealership would have caught the problem with the sensors and license plate light before offering the car for sale. I would have taken off more stars, but after the issues were repaired by my Lincoln dealership, the new-to-me car was virtually flawless. Most of the time, the Carvana reps on the phone were nice, if a bit aloof. I think each Carvana rep should buy a car from a traditional dealership, and the buy a car from Carvana to see what can be fixed in the process. More
The car came with an APR tune and it wasn’t included in the listing. I had it thoroughly inspected, and decided to keep the car, but I’m disappointed that their highly touted inspection process doesn’t inc the listing. Picking the car up was incredibly easy though, and the people at the office were very friendly. More

Easy buying experience. The car was not a good fit however. I’m currently in the process of returning it. I had an appointment to return it, drove over an hour to meet them, and they didn’t show up. I bought a used car recently. The test drive was great and then I took it for a longer drive and the car started having issues immediately. Took it somewhere to get it looked at. 3 engine coils were crack and then I took it for a longer drive and the car started having issues immediately. Took it somewhere to get it looked at. 3 engine coils were cracked, the transmission needed servicing, the power steering fluid needs to be flushed, the front lower bushings were cracked and needed to be replaced, and the car needs a new battery. I was at the end of my 7 day return and Carvana only accepted the fix for the engine coils. This "150 Point Inspection" is apparently not a 150 point inspection and this car has turned into a money pit already. I would not recommend buying from Carvana. More
Absolutely seamless experience buying my car through CARVANA. The trade in value through CARVANA was better than any Honda dealer in DFW for my CR-V and the financing terms were also better. I would give 5 stars for the cars condition and for the ability to avoid dealing with dealers but, the "scratches" on my car are more like gouges and when my car was delivered there was wax EVERYWHERE. My back seat has a HUGE WHITE RING of something (idk what) stuck to the floor on the center mound The inside and outside could have been cleaned better before delivery and drop off. If all of these things were taken care of I'd say 5 stars but it's a high 3 low 4 for me on that one. More
