My review will be broken down to two parts, the car, and the process. I want to end on a positive note, so i will start with the process. If you are looking for your "dream car" be ready to wait. from the process. I want to end on a positive note, so i will start with the process. If you are looking for your "dream car" be ready to wait. from pre-order to being able to buy took 3 1/2 weeks. the car was stuck at inspection and then detailing way longer than i feel like it should have. thankfully during this pandemic, I'm not going anywhere so playing the waiting game was fine. The First hitch. The "generic photo" of the blue i pre-ordered, end up being a different blue once photos were available. since i didn't want to wait another month on this part of the process, and the darker blue that this car was still a color i liked, i went ahead and committed to the purchase. The transaction went smoothly Hitch number 2 - the Registration and Title Application (RTA). whoever pre-filled my particular form did not complete it, it was missing the previous Title information of the vehicle i purchased that my agent required to be able to stamp my application. it took 4 phone calls over the course of 2 days to finally get a new form with this information. Three individuals either told me they'd get me a new form, or we were disconnected and they never called me back like they say will in their opening statement. This is where my stars get deducted from customer service and quality of work. Now, everyone i spoke to was genuinely friendly, hence five stars for friendliness. It wasn't until the 4th person that finally was able to make sure this was done for me. a completed RTA by the way is on a deadline to submit - which i did get extended on my first call. the 4th person (Britney, shout out to you!) was a blessing. Third hitch. Here we are almost 2 months later and i finally have a delivery date. Morning of my delivery i get a phone call that they cannot deliver the car due to turning signals were not working. a fuse was blown. I guess checking this is not part of the "150 point inspection" they do. new delivery date was a week and a half-out, but i actually got a very welcomed phone call a few days later to get the car that day. Hitch four - Registration (again). This was suppose to be a plate transfer. I'm not sure this is Carvana's fault as my insurance may have canceled my old plates when my previous car was totaled. but what i will strike a star for, is that they never communicated that they could not transfer my plates and had to get new ones. this means i was driving under the impression my registration had been transferred, when in reality I was illegally using plates on my vehicle. Had i been pulled over, this xxxx up on Carvana could have left me with a fine, and a towed vehicle. Thankfully it did not get to that point and the new plates and registration Arrived today. All of that being said. my luck on the draw for the logistics of the car purchase was not a good one. I've tried to keep a positive attitude through out the process and it's probably why i don't give this a lower review. especially considering the car is in great shape The limelight - The car was exactly as detailed, it was in excellent shape. there are some very minor things they didn't pick up in photos, but these were so minor that it was easy to have been over looked by anyone - we're talking hairline scratches in unobvious spots, and minor specs/stains, nothing you wouldn't get even at a regular dealership. The detailing was fantastic, and issues that the delivery driver did find before the initial ship date, were quickly resolved. All things said and done, I'm happy with the car i have I will probably go through Carvana again in the future, however if i hit another snag in logistics like this again, it will be the last. There was ALOT of extra effort put in by me that i think many other folks would not have been as patient with or okay with. If the goal was to make this easier than going to a dealership, then these loose ends really need to get tidied up, especially with communication on paperwork side of things so that i don't have to be the one doing the chasing just to remain in the loop. I cautiously recommend Carvana, and i think some of that is because I'm hopeful that my situation was just an unfortunate roll of the dice. But the car delivered met expectations and was cheaper than buying through a dealer, so in the end it was worth it More

First time using carvana and it was amazing, so many choices to choose from with great mileage and great prices! Fast and Hassle free. Process, great! Poor Inspection of vehicle for basic maintenance. Cust service from Adam, who dropped off the car, was good though he forgot to cut keys of that thick wire, and didn't communicate all my maintenance. This was my first experience with Carvana and I'm pleased. The online process was very smooth, so much better than sitting in a dealership for hours. The drop off with Adam was great. Had car for about a week, only drove it from pick up. Turns out it has transmission issues, so much for the 100+ point inspection.
