However local dealer and a specialty auto repair both stated the car is a keeper. Would recommend without hesitation. Carvana's inventory was impressive and pricing was competitive. The purchasing process was relatively easy. I will NEVER buy a car any other way. Self-service with cheerful and helpful aid whenever you need it. I had my car delivered and when Maria drove up with my beautiful new car, it was one of the best feel cheerful and helpful aid whenever you need it. I told my granddaughter, who was also looking for a vehicle, and she bought an electric car through them this week. There's so much choice, it's easy to find what you want and the fella who waited on me but a cute bow on my van besides being extremely helpful! You guys make buying a vehicle pleasant and I do like my van! She's going to take me on many camping trips! More

Got a 2016 that already has issues nice experience being delivered to you with no dealers hagling you but, if I'm going to be paying 15k for a car I expect nothing to be wrong with the car. I really enjoyed my experience with Carvana, and with a few adjustments to the process, they'll be beating out dealerships everywhere! For reference, my fiancé and I live in the state of Iowa and purchased few adjustments to the process, they'll be beating out dealerships everywhere! For reference, my fiancé and I live in the state of Iowa and purchased a beautiful 2019 RAV4 XLE Premium through Carvana. This was our first time going through the car buying process unassisted. We financed with our own lender and had the vehicle delivered to our home. We couldn't be happier with our purchase, but there's always room for improvement. Here are my thoughts: THE PROS - No hassle purchase process; the price you see is the price you pay - Wide variety of cars, and Carvana's delivery price is much cheaper than having the car you want transported to your local dealership - Wonderful customer service! Always helpful, kind, and responsive - Zero pressure to add the Carvana Care Package or any other add-ons; if you don't want it, they won't ask about it again! (Great for people like me who struggle to say no to sales people at dealerships) - Financing with your own lender is a fairly easy process - All registration paperwork is mailed to you via FedEx - No surprises on vehicle quality and full transparency on any cosmetic or wear and tear issues with the car THE CONS - Document center doesn't detail exactly which documents have been submitted and which are still needed, and you may receive several redundant emails and texts about documents needing to be submitted that have already been submitted - Many of the information fields on the documents/in the purchase system only include a single buyer; since my fiancé and I purchased this car together, several documents had to be redone or updated by Carvana to include both of us on the documentation - If having the car delivered, there are little to no updates from Carvana between the time the car passes final inspection and when you are notified about the car being scheduled for delivery (even a simple text message every other day saying "We're still working on finding a carrier" would be reassuring) - I was only given a one hour heads up prior to the car being delivered; the driver didn't ask to see identification, he didn't have us test drive the car before signing for it, and he was not wearing a mask - Taxes for the car are taken out at the time of purchase, but (at least in Iowa) Carvana does not submit this tax payment for you; instead they will reimburse the tax amount to you via check a couple weeks after you receive the car, which you must then use to pay registration fees when titling the car (but Carvana did not clearly communicate this part of the process to me) - The tax amount I paid to Carvana (and was later reimbursed for via check) did not match the amount I owed upon registration; I ended up owing about $350 more in taxes than what Carvana estimated Despite the bumps in the road along the way, if I had to do it all over again, I would still chose to purchase my vehicle through Carvana. It's still a very young company with room to learn and grow, and I'm confident with time that some of the "cons" I've listed here will be addressed and resolved. This customer is satisfied. :) More
