It took a few tries to get a vehicle through carvana. The second time, a delivery driver called out sick and so we got notification just hours before our scheduled delivery that it wasn't coming. I'm surprised there are not backup drivers for when people call out sick. We finally got the car the 3rd time. So when they say you'll get a vehicle in a few days, expect it to be a few weeks at least. The customer service department is well trained to apologize immediately. The actual delivery went very well and we got to test drive it. The delivery person was super nice and made everything easy. The brakes started squeeking within a couple of days so we need to get that checked out. More
Second car I purchased through Carvana. I have bought from dealers and individuals before. I love not worrying about having something wrong with the car. I will purchase from them again. I also cannot emphasize enough how nice it is to buy a car without someone trying to manipulate me in the a better deal for them. I usually get treated like I am stupid or looked down on because I am a female past 50. Most people think they can find a better deal and save a little money by going elsewhere. Maybe that’s true but you can’t put a price on the feeling of being seen, respected, and treated right. I feel my deal was honest and upfront. I highly recommend Carvana. More
The delivery went well. I discovered my heat wasn’t working so I had to take it to a mechanic and found out that my heater core was destroyed. I’m having it replaced through SilverRock. The “Car Vending Machine” - that pretty much describes it. If you’ve ever put money in a vending machine for a bag of chips and then watch helplessly as the chips get hung up and there’s no-one around to it. After numerous calls to get things resolved through random Customer Advocates, my new car was delivered. Now after additional calls to inquire about transfer of my old plates, I’m left sitting in the dark wondering if this will be resolved as I asked. The new car is what I expected but the lack of having a direct contact to discuss concerns with is frustrating. 😩 More

As far as buying cars goes, they were the best. There were a few silly issues with a lack of communication during the employment verification process. I deposit my checks via mobile deposit, so they initially denied my application with no explanation. I had a hard time getting anyone on the phone and had to wait for a half an hour several times. BUT, once on the phone, everyone was awesome and helpful. The guy that brought my car actually talked to me, instead of my husband. He was so helpful and so nice. I think buying a car is stressful, no matter what, but this was a fantastic option. No hard-sell or misconceptions. Very straightforward. Hopefully, I don't need a new car for a very long time, but I would use them again. More

The buying process end-to-end was fantastic. I never want to buy a car any other way. Delivery was less than 20 minutes and that included my trade-in, which was already loaded by the time I finished my test to buy a car any other way. Delivery was less than 20 minutes and that included my trade-in, which was already loaded by the time I finished my test drive. As for the vehicle, it wasn't as clean as expected (e.g. found popcorn in the seats), it had listing issues (a feature not actually in the vehicle), noticeable large interior stains in the roof liner not pictured on the listing, and other obvious issues like a pushed in interior light stuck in the roof and ripped wiper blades. The good news is that customer service made it clear they wanted to make things right. They tackled every issue individually and never once rushed me always reminding that I was within my 7-days to return the vehicle. Carvana ultimately provided me with some money back, set up an appointment with a cosmetics vendor (for the stains), and confirmed each remaining item was covered by SilverRock. I called SilverRock to validate this and also had a great customer experience. In the end, the customer service helped me decide to keep the vehicle since nothing was wrong with critical areas like the engine or transmission. Regardless, it was disappointing to have to deal with all of these problems when most were avoidable if inspection was done thoroughly. Disclaimer: my vehicle was listed as "Marketplace". The Carvana partners are supposed to abide the same standards, but I can't help wonder if it made a difference. More
