I loved the entire process buying my 2015 Mini Cooper Convertible with Carvana! I can't believe how easy it was. I loved the CarFax report that showed we were getting a car with a great service history, no accidents and maintenance reports. The process of getting the car couldn't have been easier - we picked a day and time and boom - the driver showed up and dropped it off. We got to test drive the car and loved it. The 100 day warranty gives us such great piece of mind that if anything comes up with the car, SilverPoint will be there to make it right. All in all - a wonderful experience. I'm a fan and will tell everyone if they need to buy a car, Carvana is the way to go! More

I made a swap using the 7-day guarantee of the first car I purchased after it had some engine trouble, and the process was easy and made the whole experience better having the option to do that. My only point of improvement would be to make the swap/return process more clear in terms of internal communication, as the person delivering the second vehicle was not informed I was making a swap until he called me as he was leaving for the delivery (he handled the situation very effectively, though). Delivery itself was easy and quick - about 20-30 minutes! I love my vehicle and would definitely recommend Carvana. More
Carvana attempts to be easier than a dealership but fails miserably. Problems started from the beginning. We couldn't get wet signatures from Carvana, so a loan through my bank couldn't happen quick enou miserably. Problems started from the beginning. They emailed a 24 hour notice to cancel the car and put it back up for sale if we didn't complete the purchase. So we decided to pay in cash to keep the appointment A few days before the appointment, we get an email saying there has been a delay and we'll need to pick a new delivery date. At this point the only options were a week away. We chose the following Sunday (4/25) at 11:30am. Sunday morning we hadn't received any followup emails, calls, or texts, so I called in to confirm the delivery at 10am. He verified that it was scheduled as planned for 11:30am. At 11:45am I called to see if it was still happening and he said yes she had left 10 minutes prior but that my phone number was incorrect, so we corrected it and he said he sent the info to the delivery team. At 2pm I called in to see what was happening and I was on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Finally get to speak with a CSR and they mention someone stopped by with the car but could not get a hold of us, didn't read the notes, didn't try coming to the door, just left, but worse, marked the car rejected. Apparently this kicks the whole deal out. This was all happening while I was on hold. The CSR was able to help to escalate the situation, get the deal redone and have the car delivered this same day at 5:10pm. However, the entire call took nearly 3 hours with about 2 hours and 15 minutes of hold combined. The car came, we accepted and swapped it with our trade in. This driver was great and the best part of our entire experience with Carvana. Shortly after the car was dropped off, we get a message that the smog and Reg 31 were never done. They asked for us to go get it smogged and send in for reimbursement or drop the car off at their facility. My wife uses the car during the week for work, we have a newborn to look after, and I'm traveling this weekend. I asked to have a supervisor call me. They proposed having someone come out to to pick up the car, take it to get smogged, and drop it back off. They said they could have someone come by Tuesday (4/27) between 12pm and 1pm. I mentioned this would be okay but we'd need the car back by 3pm as I had a meeting to get to. At 1pm I got a call that he was going to head out and should be at our house in 20-30 minutes. At 1:55pm I got a call from him that he was outside the house, but it turns out he went to some other address 20 minutes south of us. It wasn't an address I was familiar with so no idea where it came from. They also left a bunch of the old owner's paperwork in the glove box with sensitive information, including name, address, email, phone numbers, last 4 of CC, Drivers License #, birthdate, height, weight, There was damage to the rear bumper, lift gate caused by the Carvana team while buffing the car. They've set it up so we can get it repaired, but need to find a body shop and go without a car for several days. They were unable to process payment and required that I overnight a cashier's check for do an ACH same day. Which I had to visit my bank to do. Each one of these items wouldn't be a big issue, but what would have been 3-4 hours at a traditional dealership is now turning into several days of various errands, waiting on hold, going to the bank, getting the car smogged, getting the bumper repaired. In the end we should have a decent car, but I don't think it should take THIS much effort from the buyer. I believe the biggest issue they have is not providing a single contact person. They don't allow their staff to solve problems or look at the bigger picture. You always get a new person whom you've had to wait on hold to talk to, and reexplain everything to. While it's going to turn out okay, I would not recommend someone else go down this road using Carvana unless you want to spend a lot of time and energy getting it right, because they won't do it until you do. Super easy process, took all anxiety out of haggling and going to a dealer. I was able to do this all on my couch. Day of delivery Leonardo explained everything to me during the drop off and in about 15 minutes my old car was gone and I was driving my new vehicle. More
