In a time that car dealers are more shark like, Carvana seemed like the perfect solution, like so many we were unsure how it would work, if the car would be good, how effective is the 150 point inspection, seemed like the perfect solution, like so many we were unsure how it would work, if the car would be good, how effective is the 150 point inspection, we know Carvana has to make a profit so its slightly more however we know you have to be skilled to negotiate with the finance department if your heading to the dealer, there was none of this, so it almost seemed too easy, too simple. Took about 20 mins to complete process, had some difficulty with it recognizing the license, but after a couple of attempts all good, money linked and a congratulations screen popped up. Couple of days later our delivery driver Houston called to advise he was on his way, our biggest decision was do we record the arrival or not! We did, it was a moment that times are changing and if this all works out, then its changing for the better. Houston rolled the car off the trailer and we could see several neighbors watching also, it was exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time, we completed some paperwork, Houston was super nice and he advise of all our options, we didn't feel rushed and he also made us feel at ease if we felt for whatever reason it wasn't the right car for us. 2 days driving it, we named it. Thats when we knew we had made one of the best decision about purchasing a new to us car. Constant texts, emails keep us updated, I love it. It's such a simple system and the result is perfect. In the 7 day test drive we were able to drop the car off to our local auto shop, they went through it and gave us the green light. I know I shouldn't be waiting for something to go wrong, but it hasn't and its super refreshing. More
A wide variety of vehicles and very honest about conditions of them. It was nice not to have to go to a dealership and have a salesman "sell" me a car, I could just look through the stock and choose conditions of them. I'm torn when recommendinding Carvana. On the one hand, Human interaction is attentive and helpfull. On the other, my oil was clearly changed, but at least 3qts overfilled(oil halfway up the dipstick). Pow Human interaction is attentive and helpfull. Power steering reservoir was empty, brake fluid is black(full of moisture) which has the brakes squealing, the transmission fluid is bad(causing sluggish accelleration), New tires(at least that), but one of the bolts was cross threaded when they put the wheel back on(will have to remove hub to replace$$$), and a lil bit more but I don't feel like typing everything. They refferred me to the warranty company to have some things worked on, but the process is: 1. You drop the car off. 2. they check out the car(I was told 3 day) 3. They contact the warranty company that may or may not approve the repair, its more after that, but I drive for a living so I only get one day off per week. there's no way I can take this car to 2 or 3 shops trying to get something fixed that was supposedly checked on the 100 point inspection, so I'm stuck with an "alright" car purchase that could have been an "excellent" one if only the 100 point inspection was real. All these repairs will be expensive, so I'll have to do them one at a time. The transmission fluid is critical because this type goes bad if the service isnt performed. In the meantime, I'll have to "putt" around in this car and hope the defective components last until I can repair them. But hey, at least I got new tires...................................:-( More

This was my first Carvana car buying experience. I wanted to gift myself a 40th birthday present with a new car! It took a long time to finally find the car of my dreams, but I found it on Carvana. I got rid to gift myself a 40th birthday present with a new car! It took a long time to finally find the car of my dreams, but I found it on Carvana. I got rid of my old car and was filled with joy and couldn't wait for my new car to arrive. I even named her, Glorietta. I found no sleep the night before she was to be delivered in anticipation and excitement. Upon Gloritta's arrival on the truck bed, I snapped pictures and videos of her and thought this is it, the shopping is finally over. As the friendliest truck driver I’ve ever met, Chaneeka untangled the harnesses, I thought this was the best decision I've ever made. But then, Chaneeka, hopped in and pressed the start button and Glorietta was the loudest car I have ever heard. Turns out, Glorietta had a makeover...or more accurately, modifications. An exhaust modification that was not disclosed in the advert, listing, or at any time during the purchasing process. Chaneeks attempted to ease my mind by informing me that in all the time she has worked at Carvana, she has never experienced something like this. My initial thought was if this mod wasn't disclosed to me (and I can hear it), what other mods could have Glorietta endured that weren't disclosed (that I am not able to hear nor see). Chaneeka said she could haul her away, but I didn't have the heart. I knew I had 7 days to return her and figured I would give my once dream car a chance. After 3 days, I realized she isn't the one for me. I'm approaching 40 and driving around sounding like I did in my teenage years in my Toyota Paseo around town just didn't feel right. I couldn't even hear my beloved Moonlight Sonata on its Harman Kardon speakers. After Glorietta was picked up and taken from me, I had no transportation left. I was hoping that Carvana would assist me in replacing my dream car, but the friendly call service employee said it was out of her hands. Either a replacement car was not the right fit, or if it was, it was too expensive. Now I sit scouring the internet yet again, ultimately hoping something pops up quickly since I have no vehicle to drive around. And to make matters worse, I don’t even have a car to test drive cars around me at a dealership. I know this experience doesn’t happen to many, but mine was just horrible. More

There were a few hiccups with delivery, seems to be common with Carvana. Overall great experience! Customer service was fantastic and super helpful!
