Sucked me in by suggesting the car was available for drop off within 24 hours. Completed the semi lengthy and somewhat annoying on line purchase process only to learn via text after the fact that the car ac off within 24 hours. If the car could have been delivered within a day or 2 as originally promised than I might leave 5 star rating based on all the other interactions I had with the platform and their employees. The bait & switch on delivery day cost them a couple stars. More
So many loose ends and errors happened. First, the automated emails I received were not filled out and I received templates: "Your information documents are due by [INSERT DATE/TIME HERE]". Getting in touch with someone was such a hassle because they pride themselves on not having to speak to a single person, but when the system is riddled with errors this makes it impossible. I spent nearly 2 hours just trying to get in touch with someone about the emails. Second, my car arrived unclean. This wasn't the fault of the delivery person who was extremely friendly and even took the time to try and clean the car himself before sending it off to me. He suggested that I send pictures to Carvana so I can receive a voucher as the car is supposed to be perfectly clean upon arrival, not covered in dog hair all over the trunk and backseat. Chunks of wax were still on the outside of the car. I sent this info in to Carvana who sent me an email stating that I needed to bring the car to the closest authorized shop "for repair". The closest shop is a 30 min drive out of the city -- just to vacuum dog hair. One of my keys does not work and I did not hear back from them. Carvana also did not change the oil like they said they did pre-sale and I had to get this done at my local shop (not driving an hour for an oil change). I am now having transmission trouble and am waiting to hear the verdict. Every human I interacted with at Carvana was friendly and kind. But the system is so, so flawed and I am frustrated that I paid money for a more hassle-free service that has been anything but hassle-free. I cannot recommend Carvana to anyone More
Upfront experience was great. I loved the ease of shopping online, everyone was amazing from phone support to text support to the person who dropped off my car. I had a dash warning come on the day after the car arrived (it happens, whatever, that's fine), but getting ahold of anyone was a nightmare - they were not at all concerned and like "welp, passing you off to the warranty people" who were fine, but weren't a part of the initial process so didn't realize I JUST BOUGHT THE CAR THE DAY BEFORE and that's like super frustrating, so you want a little extra handholding vs calling the warranty people after having a car for like a year. They just kind of dropped the ball after the sale and that was a disappointment. More
First off, I would like to give 0 stars but that is not an option. I had delivery scheduled for 6/11/21, that got canceled because a driver called off. How is that acceptable and my fault because they had someone call off? It's not. Then, they say everything is fine and will delivery it a week later. Now, I have to take two days off of work. So, the week goes by, the day before, I get a phone call saying that my delivery is delayed...AGAIN. This time their excuse was that there wasn't enough room on the roll back truck to deliver my car to the hub center. This is ridiculous. If you need a car, just go to a dealership and get one there. Still waiting on the car, lets see if they deliver it on the new date ANOTHER WEEK from the already rescheduled on. If you are from Carvana reading this. Get my car to me. Chris Bagley. The delivery process is where I lost a little bit of faith. Everything was great up until there was an IT issue with my paperwork, once that was fixed the delivery time was changed. Then day of delivery faith. Everything was great up until there was an IT issue with my paperwork, once that was fixed the delivery time was changed. Then day of delivery, 15 minutes past delivery time I get notified that it’s going to be another 2 hours due to their truck being broke down. So more miles on the delivered car (yay). They offered a gift card to any restaurant of our choice to make up for the inconvenience, but imagine the time and money lost from taking off of work for an entire day? Might as well just went to a dealership. More
