Apology not accepted. "Carvana conducts a 150-point inspection on all our vehicles to ensure they are meeting our high-quality standards and apologize if you feel this is not the case." It's not a matter of "feelings." It is a fact that you sold me a car on the verge of a catastrophic transmission failure and any competent mechanic should have known this. So the "trusted partner" who conducted the 150 point inspection was either incompetent or a liar. Also, you shouldn't apologize for how I feel. You should apologize for selling me a broken car and sticking me with a big bill. "We understand that unexpected mechanical issues with your vehicle can be extremely frustrating, which is why we also provide a complimentary 100 day or 4,189-mile limited warranty for your peace of mind. " That's nice. And I did, in fact, have peace of mind -- right up until the moment I was told I was going to be out $741.26. "Although you experienced bumps along the way..." This seems like a bit of an understatement. And they were very expensive bumps. But, yeah, OK. Here's the thing -- as you note, I was EXTREMELY patient through this entire ordeal. And I would have been a pretty happy customer had I gotten the car back repaired without a bill. That's the implied Carvana promise. You can get this car sight unseen and if there are problems, we'll make it right. But behind all the platitudes and condescending apologies, I've discovered a different reality. The rental car charge was the proverbial straw that broke my back. You are literally $741.26 away from having an at least somewhat satisfied customer. I don't have questions. I want to be reimbursed for the entirety of my rental car bill. That's the only way to satisfactorily resolve this issue. I'm certain any reasonable person who reads this will agree.
