I bought a vehicle from Carvana more than 6 months ago. I still have to receive the title or plates. I called every other week and I am told they are missing this form or another form. Now they are saying it still have to receive the title or plates. I called every other week and I am told they are missing this form or another form. Now they are saying it is with a third party. Every time I call I ask for a representative in titles who can help but I am told they are not "customer-facing" so the answer is "I have emailed we will get back to you" every single time. Bought a $22k car with NO TITLE OVER 6 months, I can't even drive my car anymore. They have gotten so big that they have lost control of their process, they can't even get the right forms signed to complete a car sale and get it registered, and this is just absolute incompetence at this point. The description on the website did not math the car itself. Difficult to get in touch with a representative. No response to complaints. Will for sure never use Carvana ever again. This has not been the easiest experience in buying a vehicle. When filling out the documents we would call with our questions. I would get a different person each time. When we did get the van the delivery driver was great. We were told that if we have not gotten our registration by the time our temp one was running out to call and get a extension one. Well, who would have known that it would be an ordeal. I found out that North Carolina was was not letting this happen because of some legal issues. I was told by a rep to Google it. When I read the articles they did not pertain to my area. So I called back I got someone different and was told my registration was on its way and if I did not receive it by the end of the week to call back and get to extension. Might I add that we only had a week left when I called and was told that. So I called a couple of days before it expired, that person said he would email me the new temp one. I would get it within 24-48 hrs. Well I did get one. So I called again and got someone different and was told they can not extend it. But they would give me ride share credit with Uber. I told them that would not work. I have children that I transport. They said they would have to see and get back to me. Well, I called again this time asked for supervisor. To my surprise the person who answered was one. She looked at our account and then said that she would personally handle our account and she would be my point of contact. So when I would call I asked for her and it was nice to have someone finally helping me. She was very helpful and was able to get us a rental, which I had to use for the 3 weeks. Her name is Payton, and she has been the most helpful with this. We finally received our registration yesterday. It is so nice to be able to drive my van again and not have it just sit in my driveway. Honestly we will not go through Carvana again, we will just go through the dealership. Mark this as a lesson learned. More
