Thank you for your business and for your feedback. We understand your frustration with the cost of the service provided, and we want to clarify the charges involved. The vehicle was brought to us for an illuminated "Check Engine" light. Once we obtained customer approval, we began the manufacturer's diagnostic process and identified a leaking gas cap as the cause. The charges were for one hour of diagnostic labor/equipment and the replacement gas cap itself. These are the same charges that Hyundai would have been billed if the vehicle was still under warranty.
