From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was taken care of and that I felt informed throughout the process. A special thank you to Service Manager Nick Collins, who sets the standard for exceptional customer service. Nick is professional, knowledgeable, honest, and truly cares about his customers. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure the repair process was smooth and stress-free. It's rare to find a manager who is so dedicated to both quality work and customer satisfaction. I also want to recognize Abel, the mechanic who worked on my vehicle. His attention to detail, expertise, and workmanship were outstanding. My car has been fixed properly, and it's obvious he takes great pride in doing the job right every time. Knowing that my vehicle was in such capable hands gave me complete confidence. Finally, a huge thank you to Alma at the service desk. After months of searching for an EV, my wife and I decided to visit your dealership, and it was the most pleasant and efficient auto purchase I have ever made. Unlike other dealership experiences, there was no pressure or aggressive sales tactics. I was highly impressed by my salesman, Ayar, who was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to help me understand the vehicle's functions when I picked it up. Additionally, Connor in finance did a great job streamlining the lease paperwork, and the vehicle detailing was perfect. Your dealership is clean, well-organized, and professional. I drove an hour and a half from Citrus Heights to purchase a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5. I came pre-approved for financing, didn't negotiate the price, and even purchased an extended warranty. It should have been one of the easiest sales a dealership could ask for. Unfortunately, after the sale, everything went downhill. Because of paperwork mistakes on the dealership's end during their ownership transition, I was asked to make another 3-hour round trip to bring in a new check. Then I was told that one of the warranties I purchased had changed. It no longer covered the 12-volt battery (a known issue with the Ioniq 5), but I was still expected to pay the original price for reduced coverage. To make matters worse, I was told the warranty I actually wanted was no longer available, and there were no comparable alternatives. What bothered me most wasn't that mistakes happened, it was how they were handled. The attitude was essentially, "These are the new terms. Take it or leave it." There was no effort to make things right or acknowledge the amount of time and inconvenience their mistakes caused. I ultimately returned the car. Buying a car is a major purchase, and customer service matters just as much after the sale as it does before. Based on my experience, I recommend everyone to avoid this dealership.

I came in for some service when my leased vehicle was having engine trouble while on a road trip passing thru town. I was helped by Dominic, who is an absolute super star. Dominic was able to diagnose the issue and get it resolved in no time. He also identified a minor recall on my vehicle and got it fixed while I was there. Dominic single-handledly saved my roadtrip and earned this dealership a top-notch rating. Oh, and my car got washed. If you come in for service, go find Dominic.

Unprofessional bait-and-switch tactics. Avoid Saeed and Nadeel. Absolute joke of an experience. If you are a cash buyer or paying with a cashier's check, save your time and go literally anywhere else. I was dealing with Saeed and Nadeel, who originally agreed to accept a cashier's check. But the second I walked in and made it clear I was not doing an unnecessary hard credit pull, the entire vibe changed. They completely moved the goalposts—trying to claim they couldn't sell the car unless I ran my credit, or throwing out nonsensical excuses about how banking security works. Let's be clear: a cashier's check is guaranteed funds. When they realized they couldn't trap me into a predatory, back-end financing deal to hit a quota, they panicked. After wasting my time, Saeed and Nadeel couldn't handle a customer who actually understands finance and stood their ground. They literally texted me afterward saying "we won't be selling the car to you" just to get the last word and soothe their bruised egos. Shady, old-school dealership tricks at their finest. Do not trust Saeed or Nadeel with your business. Take your money to a dealership that actually understands basic banking and respects your time.

Went for test drive today and the first person was knowledgeable and helpful, until he was pulled to another customer. The 2nd person was kind, but did not as much about the cars. After test driving, he was less than helpful when it came time to talk pricing. He have me vague information, not details on the "quote" and when I asked for additional information, he provided me a quote 27K more than listed through the credit union. Yes, you read that right! Over $27K!!! Rude and not helpful AT ALL.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Fremont Hyundai's service department under the dealership's current ownership. I brought my 2023 Hyundai Tucson in for service at approximately 23,500 miles. My advisor, Walter Deras, told me I was "1,500 miles overdue" for service and that I had "clearly not been taking care of my car." After returning home and reviewing my owner's manual, I discovered that Hyundai's recommended interval for this service is 24,000 miles. My vehicle was not overdue at all. Walter sold me a $478 "24K Mile Service" package that included items such as fuel system cleaners, oil conditioner, crankcase cleaning, corrosion inhibitor treatments, and AC treatments. I specifically mentioned that my previous services had been performed at Hyundai of San Bruno and Hyundai South Bay and that neither dealership had ever recommended these services. His response was: "I apologize for what they did, but now I am telling you all this." About 90 minutes later, after researching Hyundai's maintenance schedule and learning that many of these services were optional dealer recommendations rather than manufacturer-required maintenance, I returned and asked to cancel the package. My vehicle remained at the dealership for roughly three hours total, yet I was told that everything had already been completed and nothing could be removed. When I questioned the necessity of the package, I was told that if I followed the owner's manual, I would "ruin" my car and that "if you don't want to take care of your car, that's fine." I escalated the issue to Service Manager TJ. While he was polite, he refused to make any adjustment and stood behind the recommendation. He also mentioned that the dealership is under new ownership and trying to improve the customer experience. Unfortunately, this entire experience occurred under that new ownership. My issue is not that optional services were offered. My issue is that I felt pressured into purchasing a $478 package through inaccurate statements about being overdue for service, comments suggesting I was not taking care of my vehicle, and fear-based messaging about following Hyundai's own maintenance schedule. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for future service.
