Carlos and Oliver were great to work with on the Sales side. I had a problem with the vehicle not holding charge once I brought it home (had to jump it 4 times). I returned for a battery replacement only to be told by the Service Department that the battery looked fine because I drove it to the dealership and it had time to charge. They wanted me to buy a new battery for a vehicle with 90 miles on it. They suggested that I should have had the vehicle towed to them rather than jump starting it so they could see the battery was dead. It took close to 4 hours and four levels of supervisors before Chris Troxel (Sales Manager) told me he would take care of the problem. The battery was replaced and everything has been fine since. We were considering buying a top-end Palisade as well, but given this experience I will likely look elsewhere or for a different brand of vehicle. When buying the car with a 5 year warranty they assured us that they stand by their vehicles and customer service comes first. Unfortunately, this was not displayed in their handling of my issue. I am happy that Chris fixed this but this should have been handled at the lowest level of the organization, not the top. More
My appointment was at 11 am for routine maintenance and I was told that the service would take about 1 1/2 hours. At 1:30, approximately 1 hour later than promised it was finally done. As I watched the video of the service there was a recommendation to have the air and cabin filter replaced, the service advisor didn’t discuss the need to replace and made the decision not to. While the actual service is fine, the service department could use training on customer service. It seems like they go through the motions but appear unhappy overall. While I think they have an excellent sales department, I’m contemplating going elsewhere for service. More
We went to a few other Hyundai dealers in the area and ended up at Stockton and were very happy that we did. Alex and Stephen were great. Unbelievable! I have never been so disappointed like I was yesterday. I went in for an oil change which when I bought the car from Tracy Hyundai was told free oil I have never been so disappointed like I was yesterday. I went in for an oil change which when I bought the car from Tracy Hyundai was told free oil changes for the life of the loan. Well I found out yesterday that it was for 3 years only. So I call Tracy Hyundai to question this snd was told I was given wrong information when I purchased the vehicle. So I’m stuck for the oil change $105. I also took in my 3 key fobs to have batteries changed and and one programmed to the car which Tracy Hyundai apparently never did. And a free car wash. So arriving at 9:30 for my 10:00 appointment. Was told to come back at noon car will be finished. Was dropped off at 12:15 to pick up my car. That’s when the real B.S started. I sat in the waiting room and was told that none of my key fobs were any good. They would not program to the car. They must have been programmed to another car before? I replied that 2 came with the car and we purchased another one in case of loss. Well was told they were not repairable, which is odd since the 2 worked before coming in. All they needed to do was replace the batteries which we supplied. BUT I can replace the 2 that were working before arriving there for $435 each! I declined. It just seemed odd. So after sitting there for another hour I questioned about how ready my car was, almost. So I stood up and looked out and my car had been parked there for awhile at least 45 minutes! So I asked the person helping me about it oh It’s ready just now which was xx! I saw it there earlier. We go to my car and I said was it washed and was told oh apparently not. He said we’ll wash it right now. Another hour and 15 minutes go by and my car is done. We go out and the condition of my car is worse. I snatched my keys and left washing it at home because the windows are filthy. Anyways at home the key fob thing was still bugging us so we open them up and they weren’t working because they put the batteries in upside down! They almost had a sale of 2 keyfobs! Was that the plan? Will I ever return there or refer them ? xxxx NO! More
