I brought the car in because my check engine light came on. Unfortunately, the cost of repair far exceeds (by a factor of 10) the value of the car. Sergio said the car will keep charging until such time as the charging mechanism fails completely. I guess that's the drawback to having a 12 year old car. :(

I was looking to purchase a '25 Z71 Tahoe and trade in my '23 Tahoe LT. I went in with a certain number in mind on the purchase side and the trade side. After the normal back & forth 3-4x we ended up essentially about $1k from what I was looking for. Salesman Paul went back to the dugout and got it executed for me. I know the dealership was still making money and I was essentially happy with what I had on my end. It wasn't as painful as the normal car buying experience, so I was happy with that. Overall it was a relatively pain free experience because of my excellent credit so qualifying wasn't the nightmare that I've heard so much about lately.
