I have been the CEO of the Klaben Auto Stores since 2010. I started in the business in 1974, detailing cars. I learned quickly that a Family Business was both hard work and fulfilling, with a responsibility to the customers, the team members, and the communities which we serve. Titles represent responsibilities, not rank, as every team member, starting with me, is a Customer Service Representative. Throughout the years, I worked in various positions with responsibilities for every facet of the business as we grew into the Klaben Auto Stores. Today, our business model, upon which my Father (Albert Klaben Sr.) founded and grew the business, remains the same. Customers & Team Members (PEOPLE) are the foundation of our success. Hard work, respect, empathy, team-work, integrity, and a genuine concern for others are core tenets of that model. Moreover, none of it is possible without the Grace of God. We are blessed and I remain forever thankful.

Easy and satisfied I have to say, I have purchased quite a few vehicles in my life, but they've never gone as smoothly as the truck I just purchased with Chris. We were able to order our truck through him at the comfort of our home in south Florida. He was then in constant communication with us with status updates and once we finally had the pleasure of meeting him in person he was the most friendly, yet professional salesman we've ever had the pleasure of working with. My wife and I just leased our fifth new Ford a 2019 Edge ST Doug Carter our Sales person made a phone call at the end of July in order to inform us of the deals Ford Motor Company and Klaben Ford Lincoln had pu Doug Carter our Sales person made a phone call at the end of July in order to inform us of the deals Ford Motor Company and Klaben Ford Lincoln had put together on some model- year-end vehicles. The selection of these vehicles was being reduced fast and Doug wanted us to be aware. My wife and I set up an appointment with Doug for a look at some vehicles. Doug who handled all of our previous leases, once again went above and beyond to put the deal together. My wife is very particular about the seats, windshield angle, color and ride of our SUVs. We walked the lot with Doug viewing and asking questions about numerous vehicles. Doug then arranged for us to inspect and drive 3 SUVs including one Lincoln. My wife was not sold on any of the three. We then were given the opportunity to just walk the new and used vehicle lots at our leisure looking at cars, trucks and SUVs. During that stroll on the used car lot my wife was continuously admiring a red vehicle that had caught her eye. She decided at that point red would be the color of our next SUV. Also during our stroll we had narrowed down our choice of vehicle to the Ford Edge. Eureka, we now had a color and a model. Doug brought around two red Edges one of two trim/performance levels. We drove each Edge and decided on the ST performance model. The great experience didn’t stop there. Once the Edge ST was selected, we were introduced to Christine Klaben, one of three F&I Managers at Klaben Ford Lincoln. Using her low pressure style she worked through the financials fast and without error all the while keeping us entertained with his stories of family and her experiences working her way up in the family business! After that Rich Klaben the dealer came to thank us once again for the business. Take my advice, if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle don’t hesitate to visit Doug Carter and the sales team at Klaben Ford Lincoln of Kent.
