Horrible customer service. Now they say I don't have Toyota Care, yet my vehicle dashboard says I have Toyota Service Care, not what I signed up for. JP allowed me to leave upset instead of taking care of the simple tire rotation and getting me some help with someone that could resolve the issue. This place is terrible and this is the second time I was treated like this at Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney. More

I bought my 2021 Toyota 4Runner Venture here and had the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had with Louis Nelson. When I needed to bring my vehicle in for service I was treated as if no one wanted to deal with me because they THOUGHT I did not have a warranty. They pushed me off on to Jose who deals with ceramic coatings, accessories, and other aftermarket items. I was there for a weak battery, popping in the front suspension, and a final detail promised by the sales department. Jose was horrible with communications, he called 4 days after I dropped the vehicle off for an update. He requested more information on the popping noise. Then 2 more days later he calls me saying he MIGHT need me to come in to drive the vehicle and duplicate the issue. Next 2 days go by and he never called me, nothing. I called him and he said they could not duplicate the issue. I was pissed as they did not put my vehicle on the rack and do a visual inspection, they did not check the weak battery, and they did not do a final detail as promised. Then service manager David Jurs says he sees multiple outbound calls and that Jose asked me to come in to drive the vehicle, that’s a lie. Jose said he MIGHT need me to do their job, and he did not call me to say, “hey we need you to come in we can’t figure it out, so we need you to drive it.” 2 more days went by and I called him and Jose did not answer. He called back hours later. I left them a bad review at the time, which David Jurs repsonded to with defensive lies. Yes, David Jurs & Jose Fucando are liars. They drove my vehicle around and did not work on it at all. I told Jose to have my vehicle ready on the lot and I don't want to speak to anyone. I later deleted the review and wanted to give them another chance as long as I didn't have to deal with Jose. Yesterday I had an appointment for a simple tire rotation. When buying my 4Runner I purchased a 5yr 60k bumper to bumper warranty, tire protection package, and Toyota Care 3yr 36k. When visiting, I was told that I magically have the 5yr 60k warrranty Jose previously told me I did not have, but now I don't have the 3yr 36k Toyota Care. The service advisor let me leave pissed off, did not offer to take care of the tire rotation as he should have, and he did not take me to someone that could look into what is going on with my warranties and maintenance packages I purchased. I later met with Joey Desrosiers, their finance director, who could not explain what was going on. He was twisting my words, and offering solutions that did not actually solve the problem at hand. The issue is that I did not receive what I was told I was getting, and their service department treated me like trash with BOTH interactions I had with them. Why would I trade for another 4Runner from your dealership if you are going to treat me like trash when I bring it in for service? That is not a solution to the problem created by your terrible service department. I left very upset and was called later by Joey, promising he was going to speak with finance advisor Antonio. He said he would work to get me what I was promised, and agreed that he believed I was presented with a package that did not come to fruition. He told me he was going to work to make this right and would call me after 1pm, that never happened. I will be filing suit with the Colling County District Clerk on Tuesday May 27th. I'm seriously not letting this go. I put down nearly 27k on this vehicle, purchased every extra coverage I could, and was screwed over when I tried to take advantage of what my money was going towards. I'm not playing with you Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney. I even purchased Toyota vehicle insurance and Toyota renters insurance. You can bet all that will be cancelled. More

Just be warned that when his employees fall short of their obligations to their customers, he will lie and embellish his story dealership experience. I was searching high and low for highlanders in 2023. This dealer had some “nice” ones. The vehicle I was initially hoping to purchase smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke, it was awful. I tested a different vehicle they had and ultimately decided to purchase it. I brought it in June 2023 and the next day noticed a piece of trim was bent by the driver’s door. It is now December 2024 and I have yet to have it repaired. They were going to fix it (after multiple emails and showing a photo to attempt to prove I did not cause the trim to bend like it does). I went to the dealer for the repair and they “lost” the part. Instead of getting the trim of the car repaired, I spent hundreds on new brake rotors and left without my trim being repaired. In addition to replacing two brake rotors within the first 6 months of owning the vehicle, I also had to replace the tires. On top of the general regret of purchasing from this dealer, I experienced truly awful customer service from the manager, Spike. I will say, Jose from service is very kind and I did feel like he was trying to help get the trim fixed. Faz also seemed to want to help but as we are now nearing 2025, I am losing hope… well, I’ve lost hope of the trim getting repaired. Oh… and just a month or so after purchasing, a bunch of alerts went off when I was on a road trip and I had to go to a random dealer. They ran the code history and I saw that the driver side door (where the trim issue is) had mechanical issues and had been replaced. Lovely to learn that was conveniently left off the Carfax report. I will definitely not purchase from this dealer and will not ever recommend them. I will say the salesman was kind and the experience itself (aside from the incredibly rude manager) was fine. It was easy to trade my old vehicle in and finance, but I mean… those pieces are making the dealership money… also, they kept telling me they were losing money on my purchase. I have a hard time believing that. More
