I brought the vehicle in for a Pre Purchase Inspection. They did mention rust on the rotors but that's the only mention of rust. All nuts, bolts, and clamps were rusted and deteriorated. Radiator support was not holding, and the headlight was hanging inside not supported. I had hoped for more while paying for an independent PPI from Honda. I returned the car, so I no longer have it in my possession. More

Regarding rust, surface rust is normal on vehicles of all ages and is more pronounced on older vehicles. We address corrosion on components that directly affect vehicle safety and performance, such as brake rotors, which is why that was noted. We are sorry if you were expecting a broader inspection and we regret any miscommunication around the scope of service. We are glad you were able to make an informed decision about the vehicle.
