This was my first time purchasing a vehicle from a dealership rather than in a private sale, and I am glad to say that this was a very good experience. Buying a car is always at least somewhat stressful, but the team at Sunrise Toyota North treated me very well and made it pleasant. I first spoke with Ralston, the most experienced on the sales team. From the very start and through to the end, Ralston was welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable - and that was all even before I had decided to purchase the vehicle. Once I had decided, Ralston explained the process to me clearly and thoughtfully, and he took care of my DMV paperwork and plate transfer while I was brought elsewhere. I then spoke with Michael in the financing office. He was clear and forthright in explaining the process and was patient through my many questions. I appreciated his willingness to take the time to explain what I did not recognize or understand right away, and his allowing me the time to read everything along the way. Later on, I spoke with Alan in the insurance office. He called my insurance company to initiate the policy transfer and receive the necessary paperwork. I was witness to this since I had to verbally authorize the insurance policy change. This all took under fifteen minutes. When all was said and done, Ralston was kind enough to give me a thorough orientation of all the vehicle's features and how he himself likes to arrange things - since it turned out he owned three of the same model vehicle! In all, this was a very positive experience. I recommend Sunrise Toyota North, and I recommend working with Ralston, Michael, and Alan. Whenever the day may come when I need another vehicle, I will look to work with this team again. Thank you!

Went to Stephen Automall in Bristol, Ct and received a professional buying experience meeting with Mike Collins the sales professional. He really knew his stuff. Thank goodness it was a great experience at Stephen Cadillac because the previous dealership I visited wasted 2 ½ hours of my time and never to date bothered to follow up by phone or text about the Cadillac XT5 I was interested in. Mike at Stephen Cadillac was the opposite and followed up by text and phone quickly at least 6 times answering all my questions. The delivery process went smoothly and on time. The car was in the showroom when I arrived and created a caring atmosphere for delivery as well as a delivery coordinator to go over all the functions on the Cadillac. Good afternoon, Sarah! We apologize if we've affected the reputation of your business! But it's due to the helplessness of not being heard and the abuse by the sellers. We bought a 2020 Toyota Highlander. From the beginning, it presented problems (water pump, brakes, bearings, all four tires, water leaks when it rains, strange noise in the transmission). Now it has suspension problems and a damaged transmission, which is no longer under warranty. Now I have a vehicle that I can't use with my family and a debt to continue paying. Sorry! But I must mention that on top of all this, the vehicle also had a rear-end collision, which wasn't properly repaired. This greatly depreciates a car's value, and they sold it as certified new. 🚨 Do NOT Trust Richard Radlo– Dishonest Dealer Alert 🚨 I bought a 2024 Chevy Trailblazer from Richard just four months ago. He assured me that the car was in perfect condition and even said he personally knew the previous owner, so he could vouch for how well the car was maintained. He claimed it had been inspected bumper-to-bumper by his technicians and was completely road-ready. Well, that turned out to be a lie. Just a few months later, I had the car looked at by another dealership—and they found that two of the tires were dangerously worn, with the tread measuring under 3! They even provided video proof with the actual measuring tool showing the low tread. When I called Richard to address it, he brushed me off and said there was nothing he could do unless he “saw the tires.” He also accused the other dealerships of lying, even though I had clear evidence. When I pointed that out, he had nothing to say and refused to reimburse or help in any way. Richard talks a good game, but he sold me an unsafe vehicle and took no accountability when called out. Please don’t fall for his charm—he will lie to make a sale and leave you hanging afterward. Go somewhere reputable. You deserve honesty.

I purchased a car from Riverhead Toyota very recently, my salesman was Ali Shah. Ali was very, very helpful in my decision to purchase a Rav4 vehicle that was for sale at Riverhead Toyota dealership. The first thing was the dealer location was approximately 2 hours driving distance from where I live. I asked Ali if he could send me a phone recording of the car and he did. I explained that the distance was a barrier to the sale because if I didn't like the car or something went awry with my trade-in purchase, I could have taken a rather long trip for nothing. Ali obliged to drive the car to me. After seeing the car on video and reading the Carfax report everything looked great. I also provide photos of my trade-in vehicle and it was also in pristine condition. Ali dropped the vehicle off to me, we did the paperwork and exchanged keys and I have to tell you I got the car of my dreams only because of Ali. Thank you, Ali. I will always remember your professionalism and dedication to your trade. You deserve awards in your field, in my humble opinion. Gerard H.

Too many service issues to recommend them. Caitlin is a friendly service advisor, but that's about the extent of it. I brought one vehicle here to fix a one inch lean on the vehicle, which they couldn't fix so they 'reset it', and it started again two days later. Brought another vehicle here that smoked on every start up and had a few other issues that were repeatable every single time, got the "unable to replicate it" line when they finally looked at it *more than 48 hours after my scheduled appointment time*, and as I paid my diagnostic fee and started my truck up to leave, wouldn't you know- it did all the things right in their parking lot. They either can't/don't want to fix my vehicles, so I will find another place to service my cars.

I've been going to this dealership/service center for decades. They have consistently served me very well. Professional, honest, knowledgable competent and personable (no matter who you deal with). I haven't bought a car there so can't comment on sales but I have had all the frequent services on my Toyota used 2013 car. Previously they serviced my then new 2008 Prius. They are always very willing to answer any questions/concerns I have and show me the work, if I request it. Very easy to get an appointment without delay and they offer a pickup/dropoff driver service, if needed. I highly recommend.

I had an issue with a 2022 4Runner with 31K Miles that I just purchased ( Still under Warranty) Brought it to Dowling and had it looked at. My previous vehicle was a 2007 Rav4 AWD. The Rav4 is Automatic AWD, or you can press a button to engage it from a stop, the 4Runner is quite different with a sequence that you must go through (some what confusing) to engage 4Lo/4Hi/2Hi/DAC/ATRAC. To make a long story short I was trying out the different systems and I got stuck in 4Lo and I could not get it out? Drove it in Reverse, than Forward (In 2Hi) but it would not disengage? So I called Dowling's Service Department while in the car for help and I get this guy Pat to ask for some guidance, and what do I get? A really nasty person talking down to me, telling me that I'm looking for trouble and that he was not going to help me!!! All I have to say is, this guy needs a Vacation! Completely disrespectful, Arrogant, full of himself (He said I have 37 Years of experience) BIG DEAL DUMMY! When you talk down to people, and not offer help you should be FIRED! Last time I'll go to this dealership! YOU SUCK! This is directed at Pat! Matt, and Chris where very good!
