Great Prices…to get you in the building. “VIP incentives” (Max trade in value, lowest APR in town, Max savings) - absolute none. Sales reps - phenomenal. Management gave them 0% wiggle “VIP incentives” (Max trade in value, lowest APR in town, Max savings) - absolute none. Sales reps - phenomenal. Management gave them 0% wiggle room to get them their commission. GM - never saw her, hid behind glass. Finance Manager - rude at best. Red Flags: 1) Impossible to get a hold of, calls directed to 3rd party assistance in Miami. 2) 3rd party assistant sold us on a visit for their “VIP incentive program” - none exists. Lied about condition of vehicle. 3) Tried hiding a stubborn Park Brake Engaged light (wiring issue) on cluster just prior to test drive. Came on during test drive, not reported on Carfax. 4) Miami 3rd party assistant - “we’re over paying trade-in value during VIP … blah blah” They KBB’d at the very low end of fair despite 0 issues with our trade-in, GM wouldn’t budge AT ALL. “Guaranteed lowest financing available,” it was closer to 3% higher (including dealer mark-up) than our pre-approval. Finance manager through a fit. “Let me know what you come up with”. No handshake, 0% friendliness, 100% cold. Also, did everything he can to not agree with a purchase agreement with our lender. Followed by storming off in a fit. Put a $100.00 deposit to hold for a week. Drove straight to our usual Burdick Mazda in Syracuse. Warm welcome, All smiles. Asked if I needed a coffee. Absolute 100% Transparency, GM, FM walking around not hiding. Smiling, greetings etc. Gave us 1.5k more on trade in, lowest interest rate possible, no mark ups. My wife and I bought a newer vehicle, 10k more than the Hyundai. In short, we aren’t broke but we value customer experience and service more than anything. Nothing but frowns walking out of Hyundai in Rochester. Please Please! Go see Burdick Mazda or Burdick Hyundai in Syracuse. Ask for Kenny. He’s a straight shooter, no surprises. His leadership, Managers give him the tools and independence that Hyundai Henrietta will never match! Trust me, -US Veteran. More
