After a week of frustrating car sales experience at other car dealerships, my husband and I walked into Valley Honda. We were greeted warmly by Joe Carlino. It was a welcome change of pace to simply have o car dealerships, my husband and I walked into Valley Honda. We were greeted warmly by Joe Carlino. It was a welcome change of pace to simply have our questions answered, and our concerns addressed. Although we had to go out of town for the busy Labor Day sale, by phone, Joe was able put the car we wanted aside and it was there when we came back to Pittsburgh. Joe made the transaction go smoothly by talking us through the paperwork we needed to fill out by phone, telling us when the wait would be shortest that evening to sign and always being readily accessible by phone to our numerous questions. Upon picking up our new 2013 Honda Accord, Joe took all the time we needed to make us feel at home in the technology packed car. My husband and I have used Valley Honda for years. We bought our first used Honda (2002) back in 2006 and have kept it in tip top condition thanks to Jason Fisher and his staff. About six months ago, my husband and I decided that we would need to purchase a second car. I would only consider a Honda and started doing my homework. We are a hard working middle class couple and need to spend our money carefully so gathering information was important to me. While having the oil changed in our 2002 Civic, I was impressed with the mechanic, a young man named Joey Carlino. I am a teacher, so I notice manners, respect, knowledge and reliability pretty quickly in young people :) Joey had them all. Since the salesman that sold us our first Honda had retired, I asked Joey who he would recommend as a replacement. Rather shyly, he responded, "My Dad". You could see the admiration on his face as he spoke his father's name. While paying for the oil change, I then asked Jason and he gave us a few names, with Joe Carlino being first. My husband and I respect Jason and feel like he is almost like family. Each time we are in, we ask about his children and he always has pictures to share:) While many people we know don't trust the people and companies they take their cars to, we only trust Jason and have never been disappointed when dealing with him. We searched out Joe Carlino and spoke briefly with him, but could not stay since we were on a tight schedule...something we deal with on a daily basis, so we took his card and left. I called Joe several times with questions, made one appointment and had to cancel, and he never seemed frustrated with me. This too, is very important to me. The last phone call I placed to Joe was to ask about the Labor Day sale, I assumed would be taking place today, Sept. 2...Labor Day. He explained to me that Sat, the day I was calling, was the big sale day and that he would be happy to help us out. So my husband and I headed over to VH. Joe was helping a million other people out, but greeted us when paged, asked us a few questions, brought us a print out of the used cars and prices in the lot (because we came with the intent of purchasing used) and we told him we would walk around while waiting. We did find a few cars that were being considered and went back into the showroom. And then my husband and I noticed a brand new 2013 Civic. After reviewing the sticker price, the price of the used cars, the warranties and thought...why not? Joe came over asked another few questions,. flew around the corner and brought back some print outs with information I said I would need, asked a few more questions, flew away again and was back in minutes with more info. I told him my heart was set on a white Civic, he ran back, came back and informed us there was only one left at the holding lot and he had put a "Hold" on it for us. There were so many people there, that I appreciated his quick thinking. We talked about a down payment, monthly payment, we handed him our ID that was requested, which he made copies of and quickly returned, and told us he would need some time to check approval for financing. We gave him our cell number and took off for Pgh to do a few quick errands. We called Joe about ninety minutes later per his request, and he gave us the good news, that our new White Civic would be ready for pickup when we returned. Upon returning, we only had about an hour to complete all paper work, so Joe passed this on to Mike in financing and all was done thoroughly and quickly and we were on our way within the hour with our brand new Honda Civic....I am 58 years old and this is only the second new car I have ever purchased :) I am writing this review to let others know that Valley Honda is a dealership you can trust. Joe Carlino is a salesman that knows the business, cares about his clients, gets the job done, takes his time making sure you get the info you need to make a decision, gives you the time to process all that is coming your way, encourages you to call him at anytime with any questions or concerns about your purchase, and works like a woman....had to add that...when a man can multi tasks and gets things done quickly, I always use that phase as the highest compliment! So a great big thank you and a top notch rating to Joe, Joey, Jason and Mike. You are the reason I will only consider Valley Honda for my purchases, inspections, services and recommendations to my family and friends. We have bought hondas for years and we decided to try something new and go online. I was on the internet getting quotes and only one place kept calling me and emailing me for over a month and wanting me something new and go online. I was on the internet getting quotes and only one place kept calling me and emailing me for over a month and wanting me to buy a car from them. When I emailed back, Jeff our salesman was right there for us. We did everything over email and online and when we came in to buy our brand new Honda Civic everything was smooth and easy. No stress involved and we even met the manager which does not seem to happen anywhere anymore. Jeff sat down in the car went over everything until we were ready to go and even checked up on us later that everything was good and we were comfortable. We went back a month later to get something from the parts place and everyone was friendly including Jeff who went back out to the car with us and answered some other questions we had with a smile. Great experience with a honest salesman and for us very simple, we will be back in three years to buy again from Jeff. More

Jason was fantastic to work with during the purchase of our 2014 Odyssey. I initially wanted a 2013 and he went out of his way to try to locate one (since he did not have one on the lot) but was not able our 2014 Odyssey. He kept in contact with me and when Honda was offering a low APR, he worked with me on getting a great deal on a 2014. He is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend any customer looking for a Honda to contact him. More
We went to Valley Honda looking to buy a CR-V LX. Instead, we got an excellent deal on a year-end CR-V EX. We got the color we wanted and we got what we believed was a fair trade for our Dodge Grand Instead, we got an excellent deal on a year-end CR-V EX. We got the color we wanted and we got what we believed was a fair trade for our Dodge Grand Caravan (which rarely happens). All said, we were in and out of the dealership before noon (which was a record). Thanks to our dealer, Jeff Katchen for being so attentive - he did everything without any pressure tactics and he was upfront and honest in every aspect of our deal. If someone was looking to buy a vehicle in the near future, I would definitely recommend him again! More

Service staff is exceptional. Service is the key to the success of this dealership. The staff is highly trained, customer friendly, and extremely helpful and considerate. They anticipate concerns, alert customers before trouble or service requirements become an emergency, and are generally concerned about their customers. More

Michael D. was also honest in that he didn't want to sell me something I didn't want (warranty). He gave me options and even told me to think about it and not to rush into anything. I said that this will possibly be my last car since I am planning on retiring soon, but if it isn't, I will surely return to Valley Honda in Monroeville, Please thank them for me. More
