Today was my day to buy a new car. Nikki Larson has been in contact with me for some time and knew of my moving to Portland to purchase a 2011 Scion XB. When I arrived at the airport, Nikki picked me up at in contact with me for some time and knew of my moving to Portland to purchase a 2011 Scion XB. When I arrived at the airport, Nikki picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership so I could take a look at the cars. She went the extra mile in making sure I had the car I wanted to buy. She went the extra mile when explaining details about my car purchase. She went the extra mile making sure I was satisfied as a customer when I eventually drove off the parking lot. I had a job working with the public for nearly 30 years and Nikki's enthusiasm in working in this line of customer service work is a rarity for someone her age. Simply put, Nikki Larson, in my opinion, was the over-all reason why I purchased my car today. Also, all other employees at this dealership showed a great appreciation for serving its customers. They should be all commended for their outstanding service in their pursuit to selling a car and satisfying their customers. More

Our family has bought several cars from Broadway Toyota and Amalie has been the saleswoman 2 out of 3 times. She has been nothing but amazing each time we have worked with her. On our last purchase (2010 T and Amalie has been the saleswoman 2 out of 3 times. She has been nothing but amazing each time we have worked with her. On our last purchase (2010 Tacoma) she worked with us to get the exact vehicle at the exact price that we wanted. She also went out of her way to stay late and finish our deal. When our truck was "delivered" it had several small scratches, some adhesive on it and the bed was not thoroughly washed. Amalie personally worked to get the adhesive off and had the new car manager take a look at the scratches so that we could come back and be taken care of. She told the manager that the car had to be washed and that we would be back the next day to get everything taken care of. She did not rest until we had every issue taken care of to her (and our) satisfaction. She even followed up with phone calls and a hand-written note. I would recomment Broadway Toyota and particularly Amalie to anyone in the market for a new (or used) car. We will definitely seek her out when it comes time for a new car. More

This happened the end of May 2010. The sales man I worked with was very friendly, but when it came to the closing deal for the 2010 Avalon and the sales manager "Mehdi Arabzadeh" I changed my mind about buyi with was very friendly, but when it came to the closing deal for the 2010 Avalon and the sales manager "Mehdi Arabzadeh" I changed my mind about buying a car from Broadway Toyota. Mehdi seemed like a crook from first sight, but I don't judge people by looks. Cheap sales techniques and putting pressure on me to buy today. He wanted me to pay $38,000 for a 2010 without navi nor sunroof saying it has a great resale value and I would be able to sell it for $30,000 five years later!!! Later he offered to drop the price down to $25,000 if I decide to buy today!! seemed like a great deal, but later that car turned out to be a "PRE-OWNED" 2006 Avalon with almost 70,000 miles!!!! Actually the car looked new from the outside, he made me see the car parked in the front but was trying to make me sign the papers before I check the car out. As I was reading the papers he kept distracting me many times until I discovered its a used car. He played dumb as any other crook. I finally bought one yesterday since its the last day of the month, a brand new Avalon from another Toyota dealership around Portland for $31,000 but with full option sunroof plus navigation system. Mehdi is a crook. More

I can recommend Broadway Toyota and especially Rod Shogren very highly. I am not particularly fond of dealing with car sales people. In fact I have had some very bad experiences. But for me Rod was Shogren very highly. I am not particularly fond of dealing with car sales people. In fact I have had some very bad experiences. But for me Rod was great. He seemed more interested in my situation and satisfaction than in selling me a car. So he ended up selling me a truck. I went in thinking I needed a crossover car-type vehicle, but it just wasn't right. Rod seemed to understand what I really wanted/needed and showed me a Tacoma that was perfect for me. I am still skeptical of large dealerships, but if Broadway Toyota can recruit and retain sales people like Rod, it gives me faith. So my experience of buying a vehicle was really pleasant, hence the high ratings. This is the second car I have purchased from Broadway Toyota. Both experiences were positive. No regrets! I may have to rethink my skepticism. More
I had a great experience with Rod Shogren. I have bought 5 cars from Rod and would continue to highly recommend him. I bought a Prius last week. Rod took the time to talk to me about the various models of 5 cars from Rod and would continue to highly recommend him. I bought a Prius last week. Rod took the time to talk to me about the various models of cars he thought I may be interested in. When we narrowed it down to the Prius he explained all of my options to me and provided me with choices. I feel I was able to make an informed decision. More
One of the best car salesmen I've ever dealt with. Relaxed, easy going, friendly, not pushy. I was always very sure that he had my best interests in mind. Great person to deal with. My salesman blatantly told me inaccurate facts, tried to shove me in a used vehicle (even when I stated my 'new' preference) and brought in his sales manager when they hit a panic point. I *love* my car.. shove me in a used vehicle (even when I stated my 'new' preference) and brought in his sales manager when they hit a panic point. I *love* my car... I would NEVER send anyone in there. Your time and money are better spent finding another dealer. More
