I just got a 2010 Tundra Crew Max Limited Edition. This is my 3rd truck/SUV I am buying from them and, as always it was a good experience. Both Erika and Chris made every effort to help me find the Toyota Tundra that I was looking for without compromising what I wanted. I originally had another dealership contact me first, however they were the Toyota Tundra that I was looking for without compromising what I wanted. I originally had another dealership contact me first, however they were not helpful, slow, and seemed to be disorganized (Beaverton Toyota), but my experience with Broadway Toyota was stellar. The main reason for such a high score is they listened to me, knew exactly what I wanted, at the price I would only pay, and got me the deal I was looking for. Erika even came back after a long day to meet me at the dealership to make the deal go smoothly, where other dealerships in the past would have passed me around to other people. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking to get the best deal, be listened to, and wants to have the best experience at buying a vehicle. There was no pressure at the finance table either, Dea Williams was friendly, easy to talk with, and explained everything in detail. My truck buying experience with Broadway Toyota, specifically working with Erika was a pleasure. I contacted Broadway Toyota by email via the Toyota corp site looking for a specific Tundra Crewmax and Erika responded within the hour ready to provide inventory on hand, features, incentives and pricing. The exact truck I wanted was available including options. Erika and I negotiated over three days over the phone and in person twice. She was pleasant throughout the process and exceeded my expectations. Some of the positives - honest, patient, friendly, attentive. Erika stayed with us when we came to the dealership and made sure everything went smoothly. She even watched our kids as they played in the play room as we signed papers. She had the truck detailed and filled with gas...it looked fantastic! She walked us through all the options of the truck and set up our Bluetooth phones. She even followed up with a card by mail the same week thanking us for the business. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I've had. More
My wife and I had already shopped at two other Portland area Toyota dealerships and wanted at least one more "talk" before purchasing a Prius III. We did not plan on buying the Prius the day we walked into the Broadway Toyota dealership. We had pretty much made up our mind on the accessories, the amount we wanted to pay, the amount that we thought our Seville 1991 Cadillac was worth as a trade in, and the way we wanted to pay for the Prius. We were very up front about our criteria for purchasing and made it very clear that we did not want to be pressured in the business office to purchase things we did not want. But after Gus Stiner, Sales consultant, graciously got background information from us, got a Prius III that met all of accessory criteria,and went with us on a test ride, we continued to talk and decided that maybe a Prius IV would meet our wants better. We then started talking with Pete Sweeney, Floor Manager, and he helped Gus find us a Prius IV that met all of our basic criteria (color) and accessory wants and not anything we didn't want. Initially, we were very clear on how we wanted to pay, and that we wanted to make a deal with little or no pressure from the Finance/Business department. After some negotiating, we made a handshake deal, but during the final Finance negotiation, a glinch came up about the trade-in requirement. We reviewed our previous oral agreement, and after Chris Young talked with his supervisor, they agreed to honor our deal. I was very much impressed with the integrity of everyone I talked with, with the effecieny of going from not knowing anyone to signing all of the papers, and most importantly the honesty and friendliness of Broadway Toyota sales personnel. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new car, and in particular, asking to be helped by Gus Stiner, Pete Sweeny, and Chris Young. Great team! More
Fantastic folks that ACTUALLY LISTEN. Can't tell you how much I hate some sale rep droning on about something that I don't care about (how many airbags, etc, etc). I cared about getting a V6, 4WD, regular much I hate some sale rep droning on about something that I don't care about (how many airbags, etc, etc). I cared about getting a V6, 4WD, regular bed truck. They listened to me and didn't try to push me into a different vehicle (i.e. 4-cylinder or a short bed, etc.). Would highly recommend to anyone looking to buy. Love my new Toyota Tacoma. More
I went up to Portland from Central Oregon to find a good used Subaru for a fair price. Went to several different dealerships, including the Subaru Portland dealership, and found that most of the listed pric used Subaru for a fair price. Went to several different dealerships, including the Subaru Portland dealership, and found that most of the listed prices were way overpriced, and non of them had the specific model that I was interested in. Then I looked on craigslist and found a Subaru that I was interested at Broadway Toyota, and the listing price was within a reasonable amount. I went over to Broadway Toyota and check out the car. It was clean, nice, and reasonably priced. The sales agent I worked with was Sayed Hassanein, who is a very easy going fun guy. We worked out a deal in the sales room and there was no hidden surprises. Although everything was the "typical sales pitch," we were both able to come to an agreement that work for the both of us. Everything seemed to be well structured and everyone knew how to handle all the paper work and financing very fast and effective. The car was washed and clean for me before I took it home. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a car to check out Broadway Toyota for their good customer service and reasonable market prices. More
