She did do an excellent job of selling features I might like, but not beating on the issue when I said no. Having just been "handled" by an ex-Ford turned Toyota sales rep at a different dealer that did not listen, put forth ridiculous fabrications on pricing not being in the computer and wasting my time dragging me out to a remote lot to "see" the sticker price on cars- Amelie was a breath of fresh air. Our previous car shopping experiences had been stressful but with Broadway Toyota it was very very pleasant. We worked with Heather Jensen. Heather was very responsive and came in with the lowest quote. When we drove into the dealership, we kept thinking that there was going to be a catch. But there wasn't one. We had a car that we wanted to trade in but the price offered by Broadway was low. So we refused and they were ok with it. The whole process from walking into the dealership, valuing our trade in, doing all the paperwork and financing and looking over our new car took about 2 hours. Heather had a very pleasant demeanor about her. We were told about various options and stuff like extended warranties etc but when we refused, she just moved on...no pressure. What impressed us even more is Heather's after sales service. The parts dept was closed when we got the car....so we couldn't get the floor mats etc. She made sure they were shipped out to us immediately. We had signed up for an extended maintenance plan (no pressure) But after going home, we realized that it wasn't a good deal. Heather stayed on top of it and helped us cancel it. We have sent countless emails before and after buying and she responds quickly everytime. Besides Heather, our overall experience at Broadway was also very positive. Kids had a room to stay entertained while we dealt with the paperwork. Everyone had a smile on their face. They had a good choice of cars, esp Priuses. She made the paperwork fast and easy and there was NO added supprises like extra fees. Both Rod and Connie offered me options to add to my purchase but there was no pressure to get me to accept. When I said no to anything they just accepted it and moved on. I like that approch it was good information for me to have in making my decessions but no pressure to buy anything that I did not want or need. I got more quotes last week and hers was slightly higher than the best, but she said they would meet or beat it. Made an appointment to come in and she showed us all the color combinations and answered questions and offered test drives. Again, so NOT pushy & no silly games or trade-offs to a manager. Just asked what our next step was and we said we were ready to buy. Easy enough transaction, very good price and we are happy! Will definitely recommend Amilie and Broadway Toyota. More
