I have been going to Broadway Toyota since March 2007 and always get my cars serviced there. I have never had a long wait for my car and they always talk to me and explain what they did to the car. why would I want to go somewhere else for my car service when I get good service and good treatment. Bait and Switch Specialists Called on a Tues., talked to sales mgr about a car with 19,000 miles, priced at $18,800. They had another, identical car with 35,000 miles for $18,300 Called on a Tues., talked to sales mgr about a car with 19,000 miles, priced at $18,800. They had another, identical car with 35,000 miles for $18,300 so I said I'd look at both. I was making a special trip to Ptd, driving 2 hours in from the coast and back, so I made an appt. for Thurs. I asked him to call me if either one sold, because I didn't want to drive all the way in for nothing. He promised he would. So I get there Thurs. and the first car is gone. No one called me. Everyone is "sorry." There I am with the bait and switch scenario and a wasted day. I drive the second car. They're really proud that it is Certified. But they have to jump it twice to get it going. Certified with a low battery? Great. The best price they can do for me, after all that, is just $1000 off the listed price. Now, I would have considered that for the first car, but for a car with double its mileage that had been sitting for a month and wouldn't even start? No way. What a total waste. Sad, because I bought my first truck from them years ago and all went well. But it's clear they no longer have what it takes. I was had. More
I DRIVE PAST OTHER TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS TO GO TO BROADWAY I've tried two other Toyota dealerships over 30 years in the Portland area. I go here because they are the only ones I trust. Ian went the extra mile of working for a lower interest rate and Pat was a great salesman for Toyota. we am very pleased with the experience. This is the second car we have bought here and we would definitely do it again. Steve and Chris Vickers More
Unhappy with service department Found out that I need to change my front brake after 25 k mile use for my 2013 Toyota RAV4 after I change last year from Broadway Toyota . My first b Found out that I need to change my front brake after 25 k mile use for my 2013 Toyota RAV4 after I change last year from Broadway Toyota . My first brake lasted 45k . I came in for my 60 k service and tire air sign on 23 rd August and had to leave my car for service and came back to pick up on 26 th August . My tire sign was still on and when I tried to tell service member.they tried to tell me it is fine that morning they took out the car in parking lot.. I had to leave my car for couple of more hour to get fix and left with unsatisfactory experience after I have been their customer for 3 yrs. They told me that they will call back after Labor Day but no one followed up . I called service dept supervisor and she promise to call me back after talk with manager but no respond . They should at least have a sense of business manner . I would not recommend doing business with Toyota Broadway. I will find some one else who knows how to deal with people and do their job well. More
Shady, sneaky, terrible Sad to post this review about Broadway Toyota, we have purchased a few cars from there and still have our truck we bought 5 years ago so when we went Sad to post this review about Broadway Toyota, we have purchased a few cars from there and still have our truck we bought 5 years ago so when we went in this last weekend to trade our car in we expected good customer service especially since we are returning customers. We had 3 different salesmen, we waited almost an hour for a trade in price, once we made a deal we waited another hour for the finance team. When we went to do paperwork the prices were different on trade in. The final thing that really upset us was when we went to get our car to go home they gave us only one key and it didn't have unlock or lock buttons and to get one from the dealership is almost 300$! For a 2015 Toyota, we shouldn't have to purchase a key to unlock our car, that is something they should of told us before the deal was final and they took the floor mats out so that's another 100$. I truly don't think shady things like this should happen at such a big dealership. We still haven't even received a courtesy call on how we are enjoying our car or anything. I would really recommend to stay away from this dealership!! More
Very unsatisfied customer of 3 years After sales and finance sold me a car everything went downhill. Customer service is horrible, services done to my car sucks (got my car back several d After sales and finance sold me a car everything went downhill. Customer service is horrible, services done to my car sucks (got my car back several different times with things falling off of the car) and overall unhappy with how they treat me (maybe because I look like I'm half my age). Contacted the branch two weeks ago with a complaint, still no response, I'm not surprised. Don't go there, waste of time and effort. I would like to give them negative stars but that is not possible. April 2015: Bought extra keys from Wilsonville Toyota. July 2015: Brought 2013 Toyota Corolla to Broadway Toyota because the door lock on driver’s side was not opening with the key clicker. Brought the same car for the same problem to Broadway Toyota but for the passenger front door side this time. Car was returned to me with a part of the car on the floor, the service person that drove the car around slammed the part in. I asked to speak with the manager and complained on how my service was treated, no apologies. May 19, 2016: I was parallel parking my car into a tight space and I got out of my car to see how far I am to the car behind me. Door automatically locked while the key was in ignition, radio on, heat on, none of my 3 spare keys didn’t work. I called Broadway Toyota; I asked them if there was anything that they can do since they were the last ones to do service to the door panels on both sides. First call: They transferred me to the service manager, voicemail. Second call: I was transferred to the service manager, this time they paged them, voicemail again. Third call: Transferred to the Service lead in the shop, they said that they don’t have tools to open the door or a spare key they can make. I asked if they are willing to pay for the locksmith since I know that this is related to the incident in July 2015. Since they did not put together the parts of the door, what else could they have forgotten to do? I was answered by “We would not have touched that part of the door panel, ask the Toyota that provided your spare keys,” blunt and impolite. I explained that my car is running and that they are a few blocks away was there nothing they can do? I was answered with harsh “NO.” Fourth call: I called Wilsonville Toyota, I explained the situation again. Don Waters, Director of Service, was sympathetic and said that they checked the spare keys in April and it worked. He followed up with saying that he will call Broadway Toyota and see if they can send someone over since they are a few blocks away. Fifth call: Broadway was not willing to send someone over so Wilsonville Toyota is sending their tow driver to help with the lock from Beaverton Honda (which they owned). I drove to Broadway Toyota and the Service manager said “Oh there was a misunderstanding, we would’ve been able to send someone to open your door.” No apologies, I was in the wind and rain for two hours with my car running with the radio and heat on and there was a misunderstanding? Even when Wilsonville Toyota called to ask on my behalf, they told them no as well. My car came back from service and the description says “cylinder linkage was not engaged into the latch assembly.” Which is obviously Broadway Toyota’s doing on July 2015. No apologies were made. I purchased my car at Broadway Toyota in 2013. Service center has always placed me in a long hold every time I call. I moved away and went to Ron Tonkin Toyota for 1 year and then Wilsonville Toyota for 5 months, both of their services was exceptional. Every time I took my car to Broadway Toyota, I would have to either call them back because a part of my car is missing, services were not complete, or I end up giving a review that was not satisfactory. I am a loyal customer to Toyota and I can honestly say that eventhough your location is convenient because I work a few blocks away, I will never go back to your location. Update on 6/4/16: Toyota representatives contacted me, Savannah Chilcote on 5/25 and James from Corporate on 5/26 saying that they are finding a solution. I was told I should get a response by end of day on 5/31. Honestly I'm not surprised that I haven't any form of communication back. It just proves my point even deeper that I am just another number to this branch. More
