I asked Toyota to look at the driver door handle that didn’t open from the inside. I did not expect it to be broken off completely. Somebody used unnatural force to break it. Even worse, they didn’t t didn’t open from the inside. I did not expect it to be broken off completely. Somebody used unnatural force to break it. Even worse, they didn’t tell me. I turned around and went right back. So now I have to buy a new handle. Service manager offered to pay for it. I thought I would be fair and the deal was for me to pay for the handle and the dealership to install free. Fine. Then I left and discovered the trunk was not closed properly; it was shut on something. I also asked them to look at putting the headlight cover back on - I was told the service tech wasn’t skilled enough. So now I’m not happy with Toyota service. I know this is a 1998 vehicle, but come on. The more I think about it the madder I get. I think Toyota should pay the part AND the labor. I bring the car to the dealership thinking I’m going to get top service, but now I’m not so sure. I know one thing, I do NOT want the same tech working on my car again. More
