Alexis was patient and had informed me that my presence is my leverage (Enticing quote). In addition, she guaranteed that I will be able to get the lowest price in the area. After several unsuccessful calls to different local Toyota dealerships, I resolved to drive 45 minutes away from my home to go to Lakewood Toyota. Once arrived, Alexis Buono introduced me to Jessica Lobo who had tried her utmost, with respect and kindness to work with the maximum price I was willing to pay for Toyota RAV4 XLE 2019. I highly recommend Jessica, for she had stayed after closing hours just to ensure that I'm pleased with my out the door price. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, for these two sale representatives from Lakewood Toyota made the process easier. I definitely will do business with them in the future. More

I felt in love with the truck. Jessica Lobo was great, she was diligent on our concerns, she waited until we closed the deal and were ready to go. I really will recommend this place to others. Taken for a Ride I complained that this car did not have a keyless entry, something the salesperson should have told me when I asked twice about the options, before I I complained that this car did not have a keyless entry, something the salesperson should have told me when I asked twice about the options, before I put money down on this car. I tried to get a hold of sales mgr who never called me back. The salesman who I originally spoke with called back and told me that they do not install keyless entries to base models and I should go to an aftermarket place, which he supplied. It would cost $199 to do this, when the dealer could have just put me in an LE. Also, there are issues with modifying a vehicle and the warranty being invalidated or in lease in part. Even though the salesman said it wouldn't. But since they have already conned me into buying the VIN etching to the tune of $500, and did not give me pertinent information I needed to make an informed buying choice, and did not make themselves available after many calls, I can't believe anything they say. So I went through customer relations. I explained what happened. That this is a safety issue not having a keyless entry for a woman. She is waiting to hear something back from the Mgr if they can switch me to an LE which does have a keyless entry. In the meantime, she gave me a form to fill out to reimburse me for the VIN etching warranty ($349). I am still being charged $149 for the etching that I was tricked into at the end of the sale. I should only get charged for cost, what the dealer paid (less than $25 for this. You can get your own kit for less than $25 and do yourself.) I am waiting for a call by the end of day Monday to see if they will switch me to LE. I already called the main office of Toyota World in Texas to file a complaint and had them send a message that I did this with the complaint number to Toyota World. Do not go to this dealership. I wish I would have read all these reviews before I went. More

Their own gross oversight of paperwork not being submitted has earned me 9 months of aggravation, wasted time and an account in collections. They do not stand behind their customer, even when it is blatantly their lack of competency on multiple levels that created the issue. As a return customer to the Toyota brand and Toyota World of Lakewood, I turned in a lease on Memorial Day weekend in 2018. The dealership never "grounded" my returned lease (never submitted the proper paperwork for me returning the truck). I was charged an extension of lease and an overage of miles due to this oversight on their part. Additionally, they never submitted the proper paperwork for me being a returning customer and charged me a deposition fee as well. I received my first bill pertaining to this issue on June 7, 2018 and contacted Toyota Financial directly. They informed me that the paperwork would need to be submitted properly from the dealership. I worked with manager Jean Elam to get this resolved, which she provided assurances that it was. On November 23, 2018, the "resolved issue" was put into collections. Since then, it has been a nightmare of wasted time, false assurances and deceptive customer service. After repeated attempts for me to contact the manager, she now rushes me off the phone, doesn't return messages and infrequently responds to emails. When she does respond it is with empty assurances that the issue will be resolved by such-and-such a date, "no matter the outcome to Toyota." Even with proper documentation on my lease, proof of return date and odometer statements, the collections agency cannot clear the account until Toyota of Lakewood and Toyota Financial submit the proper paperwork. Toyota of Lakewood never filed the proper paperwork from the beginning and now will not stand behind their customer to rectify the issue. 9 months later, I am still dealing with this. This dealership failed to submit the proper paperwork from the beginning. When I discovered the issue, they failed to update their paperwork until multiple phone calls and emails were placed. The manager has failed to correct this issue and only kicks the can down the road or flat out refuses to follow up with me. I sincerely wouldn't wish this on anyone else unless you have a high tolerance for BS, hours of your own time to waste and a credit score you wish to ruin based on principle. More
