We have been dealing with this dealership for over 30 We have been dealing with this dealership for over 30 years. 7 of our 9 Toyotas were purchased from Toyota World of Lakewood (our 1st being a 19 We have been dealing with this dealership for over 30 years. 7 of our 9 Toyotas were purchased from Toyota World of Lakewood (our 1st being a 1980 Corolla and our most recent a 2011 Avalon). Our only regrets were the 2 times we bought elsewhere. We won't mention the other dealership but it's in Toms River. The salespersons here have always been friendly and helpful, taking whatever time is necessary to make us happy. Our most recent experience with Bob Elwell and Eric Marin have again showed us that management obviously is not just concerned with profits but making the customer happy and feeling like family. We’ve never felt pressured into buying something we didn’t need or want. The service department personnel that we’ve dealt with (most notably Steve Hannah) have known us all these years and treat us as family. There were times when we considered buying an Altima or an Accord but then we thought about having to deal with another service department and we bought Toyotas so we could be serviced here. Salesman are there for you at the beginning but the service department is there a lot longer. It has been, is and we’re sure will always be, a pleasure dealing with this dealership. Long live Toyota World of Lakewood and we’re looking forward to seeing your renovation and expansion to both showroom and service department. More
We had a nice experience because Bob was very helpful and tried to accomodate us as much as possible by answering all our questions. It is not for any other motive, nor for any special advantage we keep on coming back and ask for our favourite sales person for our automotive needs because it is very important to have personal trust with the people you make financial deals, in the same way you as the physician when become helpless. our loyalty is built on years of satisfying feelings experienced, entirely based on mutal trust and on just business dealings. We never liked dealing with high powered and fast driving sales persons especially auto dealership where haggling proceeds like as in a fish-market and after concluding a deal one is left with a bad taste in the mouth and trying to hold on the check book. Just for the reasons given above we prefer to deal with honest, unscrupolous, fair, just, low key but firm, knowledgeable , energetic and helpful, open and good hearted people in every step of the life.Our preference in selecting a particular person like Mr Bob Strezeleki is no exception. We have been going to this dealership since 1979. They helped us out of a jam. Bill West was the assistant service manager at the time ( now he is the service manager) and they were very helpful. We returned over the years and bought several Toyotas here. They have been consistent in servicing and selling cars. Everyone takes the time that you need to understand the process. I recently purchased my first new car from this dealership. I was extremely nervous coming into the dealership since this is the first time I was buying a car on my own. I have just purchased my 2nd Toyota Corolla and this was my 4th trip to Lakewood Toyota. I owned a new 2004 Corolla which served me so very well and at 117,000 miles it was totalled in an accident. My son had purchased a 2003 Camry in 2005 - my dearest friend came all the way from North Jersey, on my say so, to purchase her new 2005 Corolla. I have always owned Chevy Impalas and Mercury Cougars - but after owning my first Corolla - it's Toyota all the way for me. This dealership is by far the most wonderful experience I have ever had in purchasing a car - no sales pressure,no hidden surprise charges and fees - everything is up front and completely directed at customer satisfaction. I had the most wonderful salesman who handled my sale from start to finish, which was so important to me. I was introduced to the GM and the Sales manager, merely as a show of good faith and customer appreciation. I cannot sing the praises of this extraordinary dealership loud enough -an amazing experience that gets better with each visit to LAKEWOOD TOYOTA! THANKS GUYS - YOU ARE THE BEST! More
This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a car dealership. There was no hassle. They got me approved with a low credit score and very minimal down payment with a trade in that wasn't even wo a car dealership. There was no hassle. Seriously go to them and tell them that your a friend of Mike's, that just bought the 08 charcoal scion. They will give you the same treatment they gave me. Great guys to work with! Just be honest with them tell them what you can do and they will work magic the best they can. Seriously! No joke, only go to Max as a sales person. He gets the ball rolling and in to the car you want then Mike swoops in for the kill and crunches the numbers to give you the best deal he possibly can. Even the financing process was pleasant Dave Bronco, very nice guy he tries to make everything as black and white as possible. There is no B.S. games here. This place seriously cares about bringing people back to them. More
