WOW, now that I got your attention, let me start off by saying if you are serious about buying a car without fuss, no playing games just straight busi WOW, now that I got your attention, let me start off by saying if you are serious about buying a car without fuss, no playing games just straight business and do so through a reputable dealership and top notch sales staff unlike any other….read on, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Definition of "STUPID": doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. As I stood patiently at the pump every 7 days, watching the numbers roll pass $100.00, thinking to myself TODAY its not going to be as expensive, TODAY its going to stop before it gets to $100…to my dismay, I was disappointed-not once, not twice but EVERY TIME. Keep this in mind, we will revisit shortly… My journey for searching for a car started little over month ago with the usual online research: Edmunds, AutoTrader, Cars.com, manufacture site, realcartips.com, word of mouth and list goes on. I was in the market for a Hybrid because my commute is 32.2 miles one way, daily. After 2 weeks into researching for a viable Hybrid, I had it narrowed down to Ford Fusion, Kia Optima and Toyota Prius. I had test driven the top Hybrids, visited the dealerships and spoke with numerous levels of salesman, woman, managers, internet “specialist” etc. Up to this point, Hyundai Hybrid wasn't even on my radar, let alone did I know Hyundai even made a Hybrid. It just so happens on my way to Chevy Dealership to check the “VOLT”, I drove passed Hyundai Dealership and for some reason I stopped by to inquire about if they sold Hybrids. (this is GOD working in mysterious ways) There I was first introduced to the Sonata Hybrid. The salesman (who will remain nameless) was extremely helpful, knew LOT about Hybrids and we went for test drive. Now, pay attention, rather than taking a route more traveled, smooth freshly paved; salesman elected a route less traveled, full of pot holes, loose gravel and plenty of sharp turns-man o’ man, who does that!? He obviously was very confident in this vehicle and after pretty lengthy test drive, we pulled back in and though I had no intention of talking numbers, he was slick, I sat down and ran some numbers around, needless to say, I didn’t leave the lot with the car. Like all good buyers, you evaluate the options, weigh pros-cons, and make the most informed decision. Not surprisingly, I sublimely decided upon Hyundai Hybrid after the test drive, I just didn’t know it at the time. I test-drove the Fusion, Pruis and VOLT. For lack of sanity, another 2 weeks passed by and I decided upon Hyundai. I became the “open book”, sent feeler out into the car market and quickly received loads of quotes from numerous Hyundai Dealerships online, on island, off island and even from overseas. One such quote came back to me via email from Tony Hyundai Honolulu sent by Jason Bignell-Salesman, later corresponding with Jeb Sheppard-Sales Manager. We went back and forth over numbers and after all were said, we both came to an agreement via email. Throughout this entire email relationship, both Jason and Jeb were 100% professionals, straight shooters right off the bat with only one interest in mind, what they could do to earn my business. Needless to say, they did not disappoint, I was treated like a newborn, rolled out the red carpet treatment from cradle-to-grave. NEVER once, did I feel like I was being taken for a ride or mistreated in any way. I can’t say enough about these two true professionals who understand the needs of their customers and so willing to bring the moon for me to meet my request and do so willingly; talk about service with a smile! This was by far to most pleasant car buying experience EVER and for those reasons-I not only will conduct business with them again, but more so for all the reasons I can’t explain, describe, or articulate using my primitive mind; at times some experiences are left untold….because its just that GOOD. Went in for service...came out with a new vehicle! My son and I took our vehicles in for recommended services on the same day. We were first greeted at the service door like royal customers. Todd was my service advisor and Gina was my son's advisor. They were fantastic! Super friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. My son wanted to look at the new 2014 Turbo Veloster (stick) while waiting for our vehicles and went to see if his last salesman was in, Aaron DeMello. I stayed in the waiting area and had their wonderful complimentary coffee. The next thing I know, my son comes back with salesman Ken Smiley (Aaron wasn't available at the time) and wants to know if I could join them in finding out about getting into a new 2014 Veloster. My son's vehicle was a 2013 Veloster automatic in which Aaron DeMello helped him with. We didn't think it would happen...BUT...IT DID! At the price my son was happy with too!! Ken was fantastic with my son along with General Sales Manager Allan Capello and John Travis. We are very happy with this dealership and look forward to coming back....very soon! More
Exceptional service Aloha, I am writing to inform you of the excellent service I received during my recent appointment at the Tony Hyundai-Town service center. The staff Aloha, I am writing to inform you of the excellent service I received during my recent appointment at the Tony Hyundai-Town service center. The staff was available to guide me through the tight driveway entrance, greeted me professionally as I exited my vehicle, escorted me to the service center office and wished me a good day. Paul had my account records on screen and the printed work order was accurate and detailed which included new tires, oil change, squeaky sunroof and rattling noise in the steering column. The shuttle driver, Steve, was prompt and courteous and his driving skills put me at ease during the trip to my destination. The work was completed in advance of my expectations and the Shuttle was once again prompt to pick me up for the return trip to the service center (which is kept spotless in spite of car traffic during wet weather conditions. Paul had good news in that his research showed that a service bulletin addressed the rattling noise and the work had already been completed!!! The sunroof rubber seals had been serviced with lubricant as well. The cashier was very courteous and made me feel like a very important customer which is unusual these days. My car had been washed and dried and looked almost new with the new tires. I am very impressed with the quality of service and will recommend friends and clients to this auto center. Hyundai honored their 10 yr/100,000 mile warranty I bought a 2006 Azera that is now 8 years old. The engine broke down and Hyundai honored their warranty agreement. They said the procedure to diagnose the illuminating orange exclamation mark on my mother's car's dashboard would take one to two hours. I was surprised when the mechanic took only 40 minutes to diagnose the problem, remove the nail in one of my mother's car's tire, and patch it up. Great service from the mechanic too! The price to patch the hole in the tire was also reasonable. Had I known that the procedure would take this short of a time, I would have also scheduled a detail waxing of my mother's Hyundai Sonata. I definitely will recommend this service station to other people. Mahalo! More
