On one hand, their advice can help direct you to a dealership or car brand that is trustworthy, dependable, and an overall enjoyment. However, their preconceived notions of a quality car and dealership can often prevent you from stepping out of our comfort level, preventing the possibility to explore a venue that could be better equipped to serving your needs. Therefore, it is important that the first contact with the customer, whether over the phone or in person is delightful, friendly, and informative. When Jason first answered the phone, we both had a hard time hearing each other because I decided to call Hyundai Honolulu from my car in a parking garage in the basement level. He was patient and polite as I told him I would follow up with him the following day because of the bad phone connection. He was proactive and time-conscious, reminding me to call him back when he did not hear from me the following afternoon. When we finally met to test drive the Hyundai accent, he was very informative about the features of the car. He even got into the back seat so I could see the foot space behind the driver's seat. Our test drive was great because I worked nearby so he let me drive by my place of work so I could see what it would feel like going to work in my possibly new car. I signed on the test drive day because Jason worked with me to get a price and monthly payment that was fair and advantageous to my financial situation. Patience is very important to me because I am a person who always needs to re-confirm information with others. We went over the paper work twice and he answered all my questions about the car. Ryan, being the financial guru that he is, not only fought hard to get me a reasonable interest rate for my loan but also championed by cause to the bank, successfully securing me an even lower rate than I could have expected. Ryan far exceeded my expectations of what a finance manager is supposed to be. Ryan showed initiative in his ability to not only get me the best rate possible but also showed great patience in going over possible packages to purchase. He was honest and up-front about cost and practicality of the plan which made me feel he was a trustworthy person. My overall experience with Tony Hyundai Honolulu has far exceeding my expectations. You often read newspaper or journal articles with the headlines, "first time car buyers, Beware!" Warning us that the dealership is out to highway rob us. But my own personal experience has dispelled these harshly and rather unfair assumptions of the "car salesman". In the end, I ended up with a great car, a good price, and a wonderful experience.
