15000 mile service I asked over phone for the price for the 15000 mile service and they said $102 w/tax and when I got to the dealer they quoted me $179.09. I asked why the difference, the guy gave me some mumbo jumbo answer saying when you call in to schedule appointments it goes to another office next door and they don’t know the exact price. Lexus Service Model- NOT AT TOM WOOD LEXUS Purchased 5 cars at store in last few years. Service model has deteriorated beyond recognition as a Lexus store. The personnel are indifferent. The GM does not even have voice mail. Telephone receptionist adept at attempting to not even reveal the name of GM. He does not care to hear from anyone, let alone disgruntled repeat customers! Last service appointment made 30 days in advance with loaner. 8:05AM and no loaner. One hour later left their "rental" facility in our own car. No offer to drive us back. No offer to pick up and return our car. No offer of courtesy shuttle. We do business with Lexus in another city and state, and this Indpls Lexus dealer is unrecognizable in comparison as a Lexus store. Only similarities are the products in the showroom. Service was the main reason we continued to purchase Lexus products here. That purpose no longer exists. This was not the 1st or 2nd issue we ever had in there, only the 1st time we have written about it, due to finally being altogether fed up with Tom Wood Lexus. They do not deserve to be an authorized Lexus Service Center. Caveat Emptor....Buyer Beware! More
