They kept me informed about my vehicle. The only disappointment was the part required to fix my safety recall is back ordered and they weren't sure when it would be shipped or delivered The only disappointment was the part required to fix my safety recall is back ordered and they weren't sure when it would be shipped or delivered More

Routine service like oil changes usually go well. Had a fuel filter changed on my diesel Jeep recently that didn’t go well. They quoted me $90 labor but when I got the bill, labor was $125 and $40 of Had a fuel filter changed on my diesel Jeep recently that didn’t go well. They quoted me $90 labor but when I got the bill, labor was $125 and $40 of shop fees were added. I usually replace these filters myself as they only take about 30 minutes if you are unfamiliar with doing it. The only supplies that you may use when performing the maintenance would be rags, a drip pan, and the over priced filter(~$135 from the dealer). I didn’t understand how $40 of shop fees would be accumulated unless they charged shop fees for the recall that was being done at the same time. I talked to the cashier about it and they said the shop fees for the recall were paid by the manufacturer. They wouldn’t provide details on what the shop fees were for. They told me to talk to the service representatives at the counter that checked me in the day prior but he wasn’t in at the time of pickup. When I went to leave the dealership, the jeep had trouble starting. The first couple of starts after the fuel filter change take longer. If I haven’t done this maintenance before I would have been worried and concerned. I feel the mechanic should have took the time to start the jeep a few times. To ensure everything was working properly and the vehicle was ready for the customer. Additionally, the Jeep dealership wasn’t aware of the 10k mile fuel filter change required for the diesel JLUs. They had to make calls to the Ram shop down the street because they didn’t perform that maintenance. I feel that the Jeep dealership service department should be accustomed to all models that are sold and their services. If it wasn’t for the free oil changes for life, I would no longer get my 2 Jeeps serviced there. Multiple visits prior to this one, I inquired about paint issues I had on my 2021 Jeep Wrangler. The paint on the rear hatch where it meets the window has turned to dust and faded away. They made an appointment for me to come in and the manager was going to take pictures to submit a claim. After waiting over 30 minutes, they informed me that they weren’t going to take pictures due to a paint recall. Apparently there was paint recall on all JLs due to a defect in materials and they were going to rotate vehicles through for inspection and repair in a few months. I called months later as requested but they gave me the run around. They were going to take care of it a different way but I can’t remember all the details. I had my first baby around this time so it was put low on my priority list. I continued to ask about it at service visits since then and there were updates but no solid plan for repair. The last time I asked about it they gave me the name of a body shop that they have been sending vehicles to for repair and suggested I go there. This is not the type of service I expect from a big box dealership like this. It still hasn’t been fixed and I was tired of getting the run around so I didn’t ask during this visit. More
