Great sales experience turned horribly wrong!! This is my 2nd review that I am posting. The first one expressed how great the vehicle buying process was at Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis. And that was This is my 2nd review that I am posting. The first one expressed how great the vehicle buying process was at Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis. And that was mostly accurate. But things have dramatically changed. During the car buying process, I noticed several scratches and a dent on the vehicle. My salesperson Edward Jackson promised to have the scratches painted and the small dent on the rear bumper fixed (“We will take care of that for you”). When it came time to sign the papers, the “We Owe” document was left blank. I then returned to the dealership and the scratches were painted (no questions asked) but the dent was not addressed. I have returned to the dealership 3 more times to get the dent fixed and it still has not addressed. I emailed Mr. Jackson twice with no response. I returned to Sheehy Lexus today and visited with Mr. Jackson face-to-face. He did not recall the dent being there. Mr. Jackson said the vehicle would need to be “sent out” and he would check with his manager to see if they could split the cost with me. Mr. Jackson then spoke with his Sales Manager then informed me that I needed to look at the “We Owe” document. Mr. Jackson also asked if I had pictures of the car when I purchased it. I do not. Sheehy Lexus will not repair the damage. I sent a “last attempt” email to Mr. Jackson on 5/17 asking him how we can proceed based on what he promised at the time of sale. He responded 2 hours later stating he would like to confer with a manager and he would offer a resolution that I would find acceptable. He also ended his email with our motto is “we’ll make it right, but it has to be reasonable”. Today is 5/24 and still no response. My patience is at an end. There are 5 things that are disappointing, discouraging, appalling, and frustrating about this experience: 1) This “bait & switch” tactic affirms to me that Sheehy will tell you what you want to hear and make you whatever promises they need to make to close a sale. 2) They will ignore you when you attempt to resolve an issue. 3) They will not follow through on their promises. 4) By acknowledging the damage in the sales portion of the transaction then later asking for pictures to prove the damage was there, Sheehy has basically called me a LIAR. 5) To be told “We’ll make it right, but it has to be reasonable” is very offensive. There are several lessons to be learned from this experience… Always get an authentic, mutually agreed upon “We Owe” document and never trust Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis ever again. Based on how I have been treated, I will take my money and spend it with a dealership that will follow through on their promises… a dealership I can TRUST. Shame on you Sheehy!!! More

Give a loaner vehicle that up is a step up in model or a different model altogether . The idea is to let them experience something they may buy next time around. Think about it. The customer might get exicited about a sporty model or a more luxurious model enough to think about it at trade in time. The loaner need not be brand new. It could be a couple years old but you would be planting a seed.by More

Excellent service and body shop referral Sheehy Lexus has delivered excellent service to us for many years. When we needed body work we were referred to Jeff's Body Shop in Chester MD. Dann Sheehy Lexus has delivered excellent service to us for many years. When we needed body work we were referred to Jeff's Body Shop in Chester MD. Danny Cavey, Assistant Manager, inspected the car at Lexus and had me follow him out to his shop. He told me that once he had access to his own tools it would be a simple repair. It didn't look simple. He did an amazing job in a short period of time. The entire staff is so very nice and accommodating. Awesome people and excellent work. More
