I recently had the unfortunate experience of being victimized by a Ford dealership that left me feeling both frustrated and taken advantage of. After my car was broken into, I needed to get my key fob victimized by a Ford dealership that left me feeling both frustrated and taken advantage of. After my car was broken into, I needed to get my key fobs reprogram as the car thieves were able to disconnect them from my car, and that's when the nightmare began. Expecting reasonable and fair service, I approached shawnee mission ford for assistance. They told me I had to tow it in. Little did I know that I was about to be subjected to a blatant money-grabbing scheme. To my shock, Derby Miller demanded a staggering $177 simply to provide me with a code for the new key fob. He was indignant and rude. He should never be in customer service. I tried to reach out to Jack the service manager a few times and he just ignored me. Let's be clear - we're not talking about a physical key here. This is merely a digital code that can easily be generated in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. So why on earth does it warrant such an exorbitant fee? It's nothing short of a shameless exploitation of customers in a vulnerable situation. Not only is this price tag grossly inflated, but it also showcases a complete lack of empathy on the part of the dealership. In a time when I was already reeling from the violation of a car break-in, they saw fit to add insult to injury by capitalizing on my misfortune. It's a blatant disregard for customer well-being and a disgraceful display of corporate greed. I found out later that 4 dealerships were robbed and their key machines were part of the robberies. One might argue that the dealership has the right to charge for their services, but that's precisely where the problem lies. This exorbitant fee is not reflective of the actual cost or effort involved in generating a simple digital code. It's a clear attempt to squeeze every last dollar out of unsuspecting customers. To add insult to injury, there was no transparency or prior warning about this outrageous charge. It was only revealed to me after I had already invested time and energy in seeking their assistance. This lack of honesty and transparency is deeply disappointing and further erodes any trust one might have in their services. In the end, I had no choice but to pay the exorbitant fee to regain access to my own vehicle. However, I will not let this experience go unnoticed. It is my duty to warn others about the predatory practices of this particular Ford dealership. I implore anyone in need of key fob services to seek alternatives and avoid falling victim to this disgraceful extortion. In conclusion, the Ford dealership's $177 charge for a simple key fob code is nothing short of a scam. It preys on vulnerable customers, lacks transparency, and showcases a complete disregard for fair pricing and customer satisfaction. Save yourself the frustration and financial burden by exploring other options. This dealership's actions are a stain on the reputation of Ford and a disservice to all who seek assistance in their time of need. More

Body shop was difficult to work with. They told my wife in the phone during scheduling the appointment the work would be done next day. When she called to see if it was done they said it They told my wife in the phone during scheduling the appointment the work would be done next day. When she called to see if it was done they said it would take a week or more to complete. We paid for the repairs over the phone because they're only open until 5pm and not on weekends. When we showed up to get our car after hours, they had not replaced all the parts they charged us for, and we couldn't talk to anyone until Monday, at which time the manager argued with me on the phone. Once I was at the dealership and pointed out the parts he then tried to tell me it wasn't the same part. Until I threatened to file insurance fraud, then they would look into it, still took 4 days to get it done. Don't go there!!! More
It's interesting that they even keep CHRIS GALVIN as a Salesman. On 2 separate occasions i have heard and spoken with other employees who state that if there is a problem with someone's purchase it always Salesman. On 2 separate occasions i have heard and spoken with other employees who state that if there is a problem with someone's purchase it always leads back to Chris. With how many bad reviews have his name tagged in them its amazing he is still around. DO NOT BUY FROM CHRIS !! After a few conversations where he said he would get back to me over a charge on my bill i had to reach out on multiple occasions to have him talk to me(if that even works, on one occasion he said he would call back and when i called they said he had left for the day) Go in person if there are questions, since he runs and makes excuses like he will look into it and reach back out, or that he will do something when asked about information over my purchase. Slim Ball!!! Ford if you are listening you need to get this guy out of the shop. More
They got me for $700, at least that i know of. They will lie and sneak around you if you are not careful. Watch out for the salesman Chris. More

I bought a Kia Rio from this dealership 6 weeks ago, and it has already stopped running. The service department told me that it looks like rodent damage and it will cost $8000 to fix, but they refuse to gi it has already stopped running. The service department told me that it looks like rodent damage and it will cost $8000 to fix, but they refuse to give me any more details until they get paid. They also told me that my warranty will not cover the damages and I have to use my insurance. I have been driving the car every day since I bought it, so the rodent damage must have happened while the car was sitting in the parking lot at the dealership. They refuse to acknowledge this and still expect me or my insurance to pay for the repairs. I have not been able to drive for 6 days now, and they still won’t tell me exactly what is wrong with the car or why the warranty will not cover it. Throughout this process, everyone that I have spoken to has been condescending, rude, and entirely unhelpful. I strongly recommend that you do not shop at Shawnee Mission Ford. More
I brought my F150 here to be serviced in October of 2022. I was told the part was on backorder but they would periodically check in with me and let me know when they got the part in or give me an update on w I was told the part was on backorder but they would periodically check in with me and let me know when they got the part in or give me an update on when they thought they might get it in. I never received a call, had to call and leave several messages that went unanswered, and finally walk in to speak to someone in person to get any update between October 2022 and March 2023. They told me in March that the part was still on backorder and had a stop order on it because the parts Ford was shipping out were still faulty. The part being on backorder is of no fault of Shawnee Mission Ford, but their poor customer service/communication is. I had gotten a company vehicle so I didn't need the F150, so with no delivery date on the part, I asked if Shawnee Mission Ford wanted to buy my truck. I was put into contact with a salesman, Jim Beadle. He took my information and called me later and offered me $20k for the truck. I accepted and told him I would be in the next day to fill out the paperwork. He immediately called me back to tell me that they could offer more if I were to trade it in and buy another vehicle. I told him I would think about it. I came in the next day, provided all of the information and filled out all of the paperwork and Jim then goes to get approval to write the check. He comes back and tells me they can only offer me $19k for the truck because they thought I was trading in and buying a vehicle. I told him I was offered $20K and agreed to $20k. He then went to notify the manager (Sonny Gibson) and he came in to tell me the same story about thinking I was trading in which completely contradicts the second call I got from Jim telling me they could offer me more than $20k if I traded in. Their service department customer service could be better, but they 1 star rating is earned for lying to me over the phone, lying to my face, and wasting my time by having me fill out the paperwork based on a sale price of $20k only to pull the rug out from under me at the end.
