Our salesperson, Michelle Croft treated us with kindness, professionalism, and patience. Her knowledge of the brand, along with her savvy technical ability, made what could have been an overwhelming challenge, a confidence-building moment, that both my husband and I would be able to operate a car with so many technica bells and whistles. Michelle was so driven (pun not intended) to make sure we felt comfortable during the delivery of our new Sportage, she stayed hours passed the closing of the dealership and gave us an after hours, personal-contact number, just in case, we needed her assitance. The F & I manager was new to Shaker Kia, but was extremely organized and efficient. We were in an out of his office in what felt like 15 minutes and then escorted back to meet our salesperson, Michelle who was proactive in getting our vehicle ready for us. She was even thoughtful enough to put the a/c on so we wouldn't be sitting in a hot, uncomfortable vehicle during the delivery of our new Sportage. That being said, Cory Shaker, one of the owners of Shaker Kia is an obvious professional who leads by example. His involvement with our overall buying experience was more then just a quick professional hello, it was a collective hour of his time, spent on the floor addressing our concerns and explaining in detail what all the numbers on the purchase agreement meant. He was humorous without trying, which made for an authentic experience. He was sure to say goodnight to all his customers prior to his departure for the evening; it was all very natural. He truly came off as an caring professional, who was concerned about his customers. My take away, and I speak for my husband Robert and mysel,f is that the Kia brand is much more of a luxury vehicle then we realized. If the Sportage serves us as well as the team at Kia, then we will have had the best vehicle purchasing expereince of our buying life. I have been to many dealerships where the focus was on making the sale immediately even if it means selling them something that differs from what they stated they wanted.
