I have had nothing but issues with my Expedition Max. I bought it new 2 years ago and from the transmission, electrical and computer and the extended warranties purchased, we have fought with issues and I bought it new 2 years ago and from the transmission, electrical and computer and the extended warranties purchased, we have fought with issues and inability to find rental vehicles. Very disappointed all around. The service department has continually worked with us and I’m forever grateful for their end. After having APIM “reset”multiple times, I arrived and had issues again with screen and connectivity before leaving the parking lot. Tony was able to prepare the order for the new part, after going through Ford’s process prior to replacing, and will hopefully be able to repair soon after 2 years of APIM, GPS, etc. Not working. He will be the reason we choose to come back in the future. More

Despite Ford Motor Company warning dealerships to stop adding expensive surcharges above the MSRP of the vehicle (Wall Street Journal, 2/9/22), Rich Ford has continued to aggressively add several tho stop adding expensive surcharges above the MSRP of the vehicle (Wall Street Journal, 2/9/22), Rich Ford has continued to aggressively add several thousand dollars to the window sticker price (MSRP) on new vehicles. Despite having purchased 2 vehicles this year from Rich Ford, we recently looked to trade one of the vehicles for a different car, and we were "rewarded" with 2 surcharges above the MSRP when we were initially presented with the offer from the dealership: 1) a $5000 dealer fee, and 2) an additional $2500 salesperson fee. Yes, a total of $7500 added to the price Rich Ford asked for the vehicle. When we objected to the absurd surcharges, they did come back and offer to drop the $5000 charge, which still would have resulted in selling the vehicle $2500 above the MSRP. If you decide to shop at Rich Ford, please be prepared to be gouged when you receive their price offer. You might want to try and find a different Ford dealer who is adhering to Ford Motor Company guidelines. We went to another dealer (Larry Miller) and bought a similar vehicle with no hassle and no attempt to add a surcharge. We will also be reporting the incident to Ford Corporate directly. More
The service was much better this time. It's much better now than 5 or 6 years ago. James took a lot of extra time to discuss my concerns.
