Purchased a new car last July. Although j had a few issues, I thought they were all resolved. My problem was I actually trusted the finance mgr. Big mistake. After reviewing contracts thoroughly I foun issues, I thought they were all resolved. My problem was I actually trusted the finance mgr. Big mistake. After reviewing contracts thoroughly I found multiple things buried in them. After much discussion they finally gave in and refunded almost $4,000. But it never ends. Found they never reported the sale so I would get the "rewards". I learned much about my car from another dealerships video. I love my Ecosport but I would not recommend Rich Ford in NM to anyone. By far worst dealership ever. One star is too many. More
So far so good but the truth is I haven’t driven the Explorer enough to comment. I am driving out of town later today and will have a better feel for it. Professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, are just some of the words that come to my mind when I think about Rich Ford over the last 40 years that my family has done business with them! We can call them anytime, they return calls promptly and always go out of their way on almost everything they do! Buying a new Ford, service calls and just being friendly! I do wish I could make an appointment to get my oil changed AND I really wish when I call the Edgewood phone number, it would be picked up by the Edgewood dealership, instead of having to be transferred from the Albuquerque dealership. Especially since they don't answer the phone as "Rich Ford Albuquerque" and I ask for service department and then have to spend 2-3 more minutes to get to the Edgewood location....Other than that, I wouldn't do business anywhere else! More

Called for price on oil change --$54.95, I said I had a coupon from another dealer for $49.50 and they said they would match it. Showed it to the two people, they said fine. 2 hours later (no one else in l coupon from another dealer for $49.50 and they said they would match it. Showed it to the two people, they said fine. 2 hours later (no one else in line) they gave me the bill for $97. 50 and had not done any other work. I had to wait for 10 minutes while they check with the manager. They got it down to $63 after they had to add tax and disposal fee to the $49.95. I won't be going there again. More
Extremely Poor Quality Work. I took my 2017 Ford Focus in for a replacement of the upper rear extension arm and an alignment in Nov. 2020. Immediately after the car was returned I realized that there was in for a replacement of the upper rear extension arm and an alignment in Nov. 2020. Immediately after the car was returned I realized that there was a problem that was not there prior to the service, and the shop wasn't able to identify the problem but did admit that it was hearing the clunking noise that I had described after I took it back a second time. It couldn't figure out what was the problem and basically was speculating about the problem so they replaced the rear shock absorber but that didn't fix the problem. I was very disturbed by the experience and was really stressed out because I knew without a doubt that there was a problem and that potentially it was going to be a safety issue and that possibly I was doing damage by driving it. I was also stressed about how much it would cost to get it fixed. However, I had lost all faith in Rich Ford's ability to fix the car, and I was beginning to question their honesty as well because it was also replacing a coolant reservoir or the coolant overflow container, a really simple job and ran into a problem where supposedly the coolant overflow hose needed to be replaced, that it broke off in the reservoir do to being old. Therefore, I took the car to a shop that specialized in suspension and alignments. Within an hour the shop realized that the extension arm was put in totally the opposite way, and that why I was getting the constantly clunking noise, and also indicated that it didn't appear that the alignment was done. I have not had a problem with it since I took it elsewhere. This is not a reflection of the service adviser, Brandon Rice. He was very helpful. The service manager, Jerome, contacted me and offered to refund all of the money I paid which was $301.00 but I accepted only $150 of if because the overflow reservoir was replaced and I didn't want him to think that I was one of those opportunistic customers. However, in terms of the service provided by Nicholas Sloan, tech that did the work on the rear extension arm and on the overflow reservoir, it reeked of incompetence, and lack of quality assurance. This is not the first time I've had QA issues at Rich Ford. I really think Ford should not allow Rich Ford dealership to work on cars, and I voiced that to Ford Corporation. I doubt if the complaint goes any place with Ford. However, for you unsuspecting potential victims, when it comes to service on your vehicle from Rich Ford, please run, run, run, run, the opposite way. Don't trust this shop to do anything but something very basic. I am done with Rich Ford, no confidence in this dealership at all. More
