Reliable Nissan

Under Pressure I have purchased vehicles with Reliable many times and met with Nikki to inquire about a new vehicle. Initially she was very sweet and fast at what she did. I felt however, that she spoke too quickly about price and payment and never asked what I wanted in the vehicle . I expected a spike in my payment, however I felt that she was more into making and finalizing the sale than actually hearing me out about my initial concerns of taking on the payment that soon. The first night before I had actually committed to anything, she began to pull out papers to sign in order to finalize the deal. I was apprehensive due to the massive jump in my payment being more than I wanted to commit to at this current time. Nikki did not seem to notice or care; she kept insisting that my current Nissan would lose market value by the time I was able to make a larger down payment and that I could buy time with the no payment time frame and look into refinancing later. The next day, I finagled more numbers and vehicles and Nikki did not seem to want to work past the 'final' price, Nikki contradicted herself by saying that Nissan holds market value for a long time. When pushback began to happen on my part, it seemed as though she would take it personally and get annoyed with working with me to get us what I wanted. Several times she sighed and seemed disappointed when I would ask about another option, price plan, payment, etc. When talking about my trade-in, it almost seemed as though Nikki didn't want to take the burden of my vehicle because they had many others on the lot and implied it would not sell due to the newer models that have been released since I purchased it. Nikki also told me that the inquiry on my credit was a 'soft' inquiry and until the final numbers were ran it would not be a 'hard' inquiry; my Credit Karma report shows otherwise. I feel that although Nikki is hardworking and definitely knows how to sell cars, it is out of obligation on the customer's behalf, sales people like Nikki are the reason I (and I'm sure many others) don't like car dealerships to begin with. Greg Baca was awesome and worked with me to try and get the payment down lower and see about less money down initially, for him I am grateful. I ended up leaving and not buying the car because of the experience with Nikki. More

Ripped Off,taken advantage, did not do work as described. On 04/22/2014 I brought my 2005 Nissan Altima in because the starter was not working. I was charged $786.00 dollars. I was quoted by Santa Fe Auto it would be $280.00 total for parts and labor for the starter. After they claimed the work was completed - the car wouldn't start, I had to wait 30 minutes for it start and it barely ran. I brought it Southern Auto in Rio Rancho and they replaced a sensor and said there was no work done on the starter. I was ripped off and it was dishonest work. Avoid at all costs!! They steal your money and over charge you 100 fold. More

I purchased a used vehicle from Reliable Nissan on Sept. 29th of 2013 . It is a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport. 4 Days after I purchased the vehicle the check engine light came on and the cruise control stopped w 29th of 2013 . It is a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport. 4 Days after I purchased the vehicle the check engine light came on and the cruise control stopped working. I took the vehicle in to have them check the vehicle out, I could not leave it that day because I needed to take it out of town on a trip. They told me it would be a quick fix and to bring it back on Monday. I took the vehicle in for repair on a Monday in October and got it back on a Thursday and they fixed the problem. So I thought. When I got the vehicle back the check engine light was off, but when I tried to put gas in the vehicle it would simply overflow which was not a problem when I bought the vehicle and the check engine light came back on. So I had to take the vehicle back in. I took my vehicle in on the following Monday and did not get the vehicle back again until the following Monday. When I got my vehicle back I immediately took it to a gas station to fill it to make sure that it would take fuel. It did not. So I had to take it back in the very next day, as I was taking it in to the shop, the Check engine light came back on! I took the vehicle back in to get fixed and didn't get it back for another 4 days. I got the vehicle back and drove it for 2 days and then the cruise control went out again. So I had to take the Ford back into the dealership on Monday to get the issue fixed. I took it in on December 2nd. Today is the 6th of December and I still do not have my vehicle back and have been informed that the repairs that need to be done will not be taken care of by the dealership. I tried talking to the used car salesman Scott. He tells me that its because I bought a used car and they have problems, even though I asked if there was any warranty on the vehicle when I bought it. I was informed that there was a 15 day warranty on the vehicle and I got it in to the dealership in the proper time frame. It is not my fault that they never completed the work properly. He then informs me that they have already put plenty of money into the vehicle. Yet it is still not fixed which means that I bought a lemon. As I said, I bought the vehicle on Sept. 29th, Today is now the 6th of December. Through out all this time, the vehicle has been at "Reliable" Nissan for 28 days. I have not even had a chance to enjoy my "new" vehicle as it has been in the shop for a majority of the time I have "owned" it. Yet I have had to keep my end of the deal up for making payments on this lemon of a car. I just want Reliable to make things right. I would also like to note that I overpaid for this vehicle by about $1200 which I was not truly aware of until my loan went all the way through. My loan officer informed me of this after the fact that it was purchased. I will never do business with this company again and will tell all my friends to stay away from this place as they were truly not willing to help with the problems that the vehicle had. They partially did until it became overly costly to them. Sometimes a business takes a loss, that's just how it is, I know this as a business man myself. More

Samantha was great. She was referred to me by a friend of mine and she didn't disappoint! She gave us a great price up front and she even delivered the vehicle to Las Cruces for us because we were unable to mine and she didn't disappoint! These folks didn't seem to want to sell cars. I don't expect any dealership to give me a car but I do expect them to be reasonable, especially when trying to buy last year's model. For the 2013 model we were interested in they had around 15 on the lot. 2014s are arriving in a couple of weeks but they seemed to want to hold on to the 2013s. It's not the good old days for car dealers when they had all the information and buyers had none. We pretty much know what cars are worth today as they sit on your lot. I would not go so far as to not recommend this dealership to someone else. You may have better luck than I did. More

My old car had just died, finally, and i had heard a lot about the new nissans. I called and talked to a nice guy who answered all my questions quickly and nicely. It was awesome! We went for a drive once we found the one that fit my needs. I was almost instantly sold. We sat down and they gave me a great price that fit right into my budget. The whole process was totally painless and quite enjoyable. I will gladly shop with them in the, very distant, future. This Sentra is awesome and I will keep it a long time. More
