So, in an attempt to not pay a 3% up charge for using a credit card, I went to Valvoline to get my oil changed and tires rotated. That proved to be a disaster! They drained my transmission instead of the c credit card, I went to Valvoline to get my oil changed and tires rotated. That proved to be a disaster! They drained my transmission instead of the crankcase and double filled the engine oil. When I went back to Valvoline, they threw up their hands and said, “I dunno!” I immediately drove to Randy Marion where they quickly diagnosed the problem and began the process to fix it. In the end, they could not guarantee that some internal damage to the transmission had occurred. Fast forward, they replaced the transmission, thankfully at the cost of Valvoline ($14,000). In just a few days the car was back on the road and I completed a 1,900 mile road trip without an issue or worry. I’ll probably have to get service loaded with cash to avoid the 3% charge, but will continue to get my service needs completed at Randy Marion. Oh, and Mark Wilburn was a joy and very easy to work with! More
