I came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I was told I had an oil leak, but there was no sign of any leakage on my garage floor. I was also told the engine mounts had broken or collapsed. Hadn't noticed anything that would indicate that either. We were about to go on a 2000 mile trip so felt we had to do the repair before we left. Total invoice was $5689.19. Ouch!! When we came back to pick up the car, we drove off the lot and heard terrible sounds from under the car and brought it back in. We were told that because the car was up on a rack for an extended period of time, it ruined the struts. The front struts would be covered under warranty but the rear shock would be another $2461.53. I was about to file a complaint with the Cadillac Customer Service but the dealership ended up covering the $2461.53 without me having to file a complaint. Before this last service, I would have recommended them and given them 5 stars. I'm not so confident in them anymore, but there are no other dealers near me. More
I had to wait almost an hour before the gentleman got there to do the pinstripe on my car. I had an appointment at 9:30 and I think he got there about 10:15.
