Plaza Cadillac was established in October of 1995, and consistently ranks as one of the nation’s top Cadillac dealers for sales and customer satisfaction. Our primary areas of sales and service are here in Lake and Sumter counties, but many of our customers come from throughout the State of Florida.
We take tremendous pride in the level of service that we provide, and we do it by keeping in mind all of the expectations that our customers have for premium dealership. I brought my car into your facility because of error messages I was receiving. I was told the battery was low and it was charged to 60%. Even though the battery was replaced in January I was told as the messages I was receiving. I was told the battery was low and it was charged to 60%. Even though the battery was replaced in January I was told as the car was no longer under warranty the battery was not under warranty and to replace the battery would be $400. In lieu of replacing the battery I was told to drive it more. We drive it every day and last week I drove to Gainesville twice. Sunday morning the car would not start and I had a neighbor jump start it and drove it to a local service center. They determined that the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. I am lucky this did not happen when I was traveling to Gainesville. It is unfortunate that your mechanic could not determine the state of the battery, and you charged me $68. to tell me my battery was good and I should drive more (11,000 miles last year should suffice). Luckily there is a Cadillac dealer in Ocala I can go to for service and my next car. More
