BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! My other half and I were in search of a fuel efficient certified pre-owned vehicle that we could keep for a "long time". This was going to be our 3rd My other half and I were in search of a fuel efficient certified pre-owned vehicle that we could keep for a "long time". This was going to be our 3rd car for commuting. We found the vehicle online and contacted Paramus Chevy, and Bob was assigned our case. He made the entire experience from the second we walked in the door all the way through till when we "took our photo" with the car before we drove it away. We would recommend Bob to anybody we know, we live about an hour away from the dealership in NY and using Bob made the entire trip 100% worth it. He worked out the best deal for the car with us and was very upfront and honest, even threw in a few perks for the new ride. I know when we are searching for our next car we will be giving Bob a shout to find it for us! Hands down between the two of us owning multiple cars throughout our lives this was the best car buying experience yet! Thanks again Bob!!!!!! A Customer Experience story told by a Customer I was in search of two Chevy work vans because on of my older Chevy Astro vans caught on fire and was considered a total and the other was involved in I was in search of two Chevy work vans because on of my older Chevy Astro vans caught on fire and was considered a total and the other was involved in an auto accident and the insurance company considered that on a total as well. This happened within a 24 hour period. I was two vans down out of three. My third one was a 16' box truck that was hardly driven. I needed desperately to by at least one van for now. I have always had Chevy Astros for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, GM stopped producing these vans for sometime now. The Chevy Express was my next choice to purchase. I visited my local Chevy dealer, where I had purchased vans from them for the past 20 years, and I negotiated, what I thought, was the very best deal. After the purchase of the Chevy Express and using it for a few weeks, I really like the way the van handled and the extra room it has over the Chevy Astro I have been driving. It was now time to purchase my second Chevy Express van. This time I wanted to trade in my 16' box truck for the new van. I went back to the dealer where I purchased my first van. The dealer looked at my box truck and the story I heard was all negatives about the box truck and they were doing me a favor by taking off of my hands. After hearing all of the negatives, about the box truck, I wondered what an idiot I was for even purchasing this box truck in the first place. I decided to put the box truck on Craigs list to see if I can sell it for more than the dealer offered me. By the way, the dealer was going to sell me the second van for a little less than what I paid for my first one from them. They told me it was a great deal. I decided to visit another dealer, Paramus Chevy, to see what they would offer for the box truck and what the cost for a new Chevy Express would be. Let me tell you my experience with Paramus Chevy. I have purchased may vehicles in my life time from a Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, BMW's, Mini Cooper to Jeeps. Each time you are at a dealer, it is a truly a customer experience, whether a good, bad or an exhausting experience. Each dealer has their technique on how to convince the buy to buy. They do not want the customer to leave without the purchase of a vehicle. They know the buyer may never come back. After all, there are many dealers selling the same vehicles. This experience was completely different. Something I never experienced before and was quite surprised. I called Paramus Chevy just to fact find thinking they would be higher. In my mind, I would probably be purchasing from my other dealer where I purchased my first van. at Paramus Chevy, I explained to two sales associates Fred Lax and Bill Mann I just purchased a Chevy Express van from a another dealer and was shopping for another van. At that time, it appeared they were working together with my situation. I was fine with that. Both Fred Lax and Bill Mann never pushed for me to visit their showroom nor to drive the 16' box truck, to their dealership for their truck manager to look at it. They were willing to visit my office and have the truck manager come to see it. That made my life much easier. Bill Mann seemed to take hold of this deal. He assured me that they will do what is necessary for my business and give me the best price possible. The truck manager, visited my office along with Bill Mann. It was the first time we all met face to face. All along we were doing business over the phone. Within a few hours after looking at my box truck Bill called me with numbers. The numbers he presented to me, over the phone was very shocking to me. Not only did Paramus Chevy offer more than double on the box truck, they were at least $1,500 less than the other dealer. This truck was equipped with a rear view camera and was still $1,500 less. We closed the deal over the phone with a credit card deposit and was going to pick up the truck in a few days. Bill was willing to drop off the truck at my office and pick up the box truck, not to inconvenience me. I thanked him and told him that would not be necessary. The next part is even better. It is Friday June 26th and I bring in the box truck to Paramus Chevy. I meet with the finance department to sign the papers to finalize the sale. That went very smoothly. There was not the pushy type of "add on" of extended warranties. You can imagine what I am talking about. When that part was over, it was now time to pick up my new truck. As Bill and I entered into the truck for a quick overview of the truck, I noticed that the interior seats were vinyl, not cloth like my first truck. Bill also informed me about loaned vehicles and that they would accommodate me if the truck needs more than just an oil change. The other dealer flat out refused. Bill also told me about free oil changes for the first 2 years. He explained that every 6 months or 6,000 miles just bring in the truck for the free oil changes. WOW!!! I told bill that the other dealer did not offer any oil changes with the other van. When Bill heard this, he told me to bring in the other truck I purchased from the other dealer and he will honor the free oil changes for that truck also. In all of the years, I had never had a customer experience like this before. The other dealer of where I had purchased my truck for for the past 20 years, just lost my business. If I could, I would return the van from the other dealer and purchase another one from Paramus Chevy. A true lesson learned in a buying a vehicle. More

They had the most selection, as stated on Internet, and there were these outstanding reviews about a fella named Bob Brooks. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately. Then luckily Bob approached us. He was instantly familiar in a friendly, "where do I know this guy from" kind of way. He was kind to our son, accommodating to our time frame and quick to find us the car (with all the fixings) we were looking for. We were able to test drive that day and then Bob led us in the right direction to handle all the financial end, which can certainly be a drag. Sure I wish we could have gotten the car for thousands cheaper but that's pure pipe dreaming. The 2014 Traverse 1LT we picked out is certainly to our liking. It's very attractive, almost like it's wearing a tuxedo. Bob got us the heated seats so I can drive without pain and the 20" rims so my husband could drive without hubcaps. Bob made sure my husband had delicious coffee to drink and made sure my son had a fresh bottle of water. He stayed after hours two nights in a row to make sure we had everything we needed. He found two rebates for us that helped with the cost and got us a great trade in value for our Jolopy. Bob made us very comfortable in an otherwise intimidating environment. Basically he made spending 40K a relaxed experience. I would highly recommend using Paramus Auto Mall and I would definitely recommend asking for Bob Brooks when you walk in. More
