I was extremely impressed with prompt response I received from Carey after emailing the dealership for some info regarding my lease emd in March fpr my jaguar. I used to be in the auto industry in Calif & so I know how important it is for the salesmen to get the customer into the showroom but when I explaines my sitluation, Carey didn't pressure like another dealer. He gave me my info & them about a couple days later he called me to follow up. He was the only salesman out of 4 other dealerships who did call & was very comfortable to talk to without all that high pressure sales talk. He listened which is so important. I did & he would answer my questions. As a result I will definitely be going in to see him in person. I was planning on going back to Manhattan Auto Mall where I purchased my Jaguar but now I am not so sure. I saw the Chevy SUV on TV & that was what prompted me to email Paramus. No dealer on Long Island wanted to talk about an Equinox V6 with us. So, we called paramus Chevrolet and asked if they had one in stock to let us test and Bill said to come on in. When we got there Bill was busy with another client so John helped us. The V6 they had was on the floor. They opened the doors and moved the car into the lot and we went for a drive on the highways and side roads. We got back to the dealership and started talking deal. They took a look at our trade and gace us $4500 more than they offered us at a long Island dealership and $6000 more than Edmunds said we would get from a dealer. The Equinox had more stuff in it than we would have ordered but the total price with the trade and ALL those annoying fees and charges came to $3000.oo less than we estimated. We were thrilled. We hadn't been prepared to actually take delivery the same day but they worked it out with the plate transfer and the insurance and we just drove home in our new car. There's an awful lot of paperwork to sort through and the dealership itself is a busy one, but while I was busy signing papers with Bill John was in the car with my daughter showing her the features and helping her set up bluetooth, OnStar, radio stations and making sure she knew where everything was. That saved us a bunch of time. All in all it was a great experience. More
Contacted this dealer twice about a vehicle over the internet. Last time, submitted a credit report, and the dealer never got back to me about the report. Living close, I should have gone up there in person and requested info, but will not go int a place that does not respond to customers. Internet salesperson made an offer but the offer was about $700 less on the down payment than I could do. Dealer wasn't willing, on 2 occasions, to take money offered to them. Living in north jersey all my life, and wanting to business with a hometown dealer, this hometown boy was actually quite disappointed with the way business was handled over the internet. There are only 2 other chevy dealers in Bergen County; they probably aren't great, but I will explore them just because of the way I was treated at Paramus. More
Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and provided all the information I needed. They went to another location to bring back a car that was in the color I wanted, since they did not have one on their all the information I needed. We have been dealing with this dealership for 25years or so. We have never had a problem with buying or repairs. Everyone is always helpful. I feel they will go the extra mile when making a deal for a trade in and we have also had experience with used cars and they have always stood behind their agreement.Dealing for 25years and l5 cars later speaks for itself. well you heard about the miracle on 34t st,i have just experienced the miracle on rte 17 north @ the paramus auto mall.It was black friday when I arrived their in a mental state prepared to do battle with experienced the miracle on rte 17 north @ the paramus auto mall.It was black friday when I arrived their in a mental state prepared to do battle with the stereotypical car salesman @ the stereotypical car dealership anxious,on guard and determined to outwit him.I approached the entrance and viewed two salesman waiting to pounce on their next victim,me! but to my surprise no one did.I was allowed to walk around the showroom look at the vehicles undisturbed and when i was ready found Bill and set in motion the most pleasurable car purchase ever.No pressure at all the anxiety began to melt away as the minutes ticked by and the experience became simple relaxing,enjoyable.we began to explore what i wanted in a vehicle and what was the best for me, what i was looking for not what Bill wanted to sell me i decided on a chevy cruz we took it for a test ride and i was blown away by the vehicle, on our way back it was time to negotiate i waited for the words we all are familiar with lets talk to the manager the old anxiety returns and im introduced to RJ mann "the manager" now let me just say if you are in the market to purchase a new,used,or whatever see the Mann brothers or any other sales person who has been trained by Mann himself rj looked at me and said where do you need to be to make this happen for you i gave him my numbers and he had several options for me to choose from and was in a black granite metalic turbocharged 2011 cruz 1Lt it was during my conversation with rj that I discovered his philosphy just make people happy with the whole vehicle purchase procedure,when they come to my store thats what we all strive for make the customer happy well sir congradulations i love my new car. After going through 3 dealerships in my area and wasting my time waiting for quotes that were too high and arguing over not wanting to pay for the dealer add-ons, I decided to look elsewhere. Paramus Chevy is located about 35 miles away so I asked them if they could quote me a good per month lease price over the phone. I was surprised that they were willing to do that (on black friday no less). After a few conversations from the comfort of my home, we agreed on a price. Actually, I gave them a price and they were willing to work with that. Upon arrival at the dealership, all of the paperwork was ready to go. All I had to do was sign it and drive away with my new car. I thought dropping off a leased car would be a pain, but all I did was park it and they did the rest. Also, amazingly enough, I didn't notice any dealer add-ons which is a rare find these days and which is why I was able to negotiate a price no other dealer was willing to agree to. They were just selling the car that was delivered. That's it. Another rare find is a dealership that sends personal emails vs. the canned garbage that I received from other dealerships. I had sent a quote request to Paramus the night before Thanksgiving and received a personal reply on Thanksgiving from a real person (who apparently works 24/7) and not from a generated message. Overall, a great unexpected experience and very friendly atmosphere. If I'm in the market for a Chevy 3 years from now, I'll probably just save the hassle and call Paramus Chevy first. The drive is worth it! More

From my very first experience at Paramus Chevy, I felt the salespeople were well versed, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I have been back several times to purchase vehicles after my first experience and intend on returning in the future. Not only is the sales department great but the service department is also a pleasure with which to deal. No matter what questions I have had over the years, the staff has always been eager to provide me with the information I need. I would whole-heartedly recommend Paramus Cheverolet to anyone in the market for a car. It is dealerships like Paramus Chevy that make the car buying experience pleasureable. More
This dealership is full of dis-respectfull people. They were racist. At first they gave the price no one could meet/beat than when I got there, they tried to make up the difference through finance rate. I were racist. I now know why GM is going out of business and one of the BIGGEST reason is dealers like Paramus Chevy.I would warn any one that's looking to deal with them, there stories and prices change faster than weather.
