Scam at Newark Toyota Took my corolla in for an oil change and free tire rotation.... Said i needed belt replaced and it had a crack. No crack. Said I need a fuel induction Took my corolla in for an oil change and free tire rotation.... Said i needed belt replaced and it had a crack. No crack. Said I need a fuel induction at 55,000 miles. Yeah right.Tire light went on right after I got my car back from service. They took air out of my tires that I just added air to due to recommendation of tire not Toyota recommendation. OMG! Thank god I can work on cars somewhat.... More of a hassle than relief. More
Horrible service I bought a car from Bruce Low (who by the way, is a great guy and still keeps up with me today. My complaint in no way reflects him) about 10 months ago. I brought my car in for an oil change, which I was advised that my front tires were completely worn down. The owner of the dealership previously owned my car, and had put aftermarket wheels on in the service center. They completed the allignment. The rep said he would call me the next day. Not only did I never get a call back, but I called and left three voicemails over the course of four weeks. Finally, I called and asked for a supervisor. He was quick to get back to me and asked me to bring the car in again for them to look at. Once again, they confirmed the allignment issue and said they'd get back to me in a day or two. This was over three weeks ago. I have sent emails and left voicemails again, but they keep avoiding the issue. Finally, my tire went flat and I couldn't drive my car. I can't go without my car, as I need it to get to and from work. I left a voicemail for the sales manager and the service manager, as well as sending an email which was responded "we will talk next week." I had to take my car this weekend to get new tires and an allignment on my own because this dealership did everything they could to avoid my problem. I am very unhappy and wish I hadn't bought the extended warranty because I don't trust that they will do their part if it comes down to it. I had such a great experience purchasing my car, and within 8 months, they completely ruined what would have been a return customer. More
