I have been to Newark Toyota World yesterday with my friend. Ken Shader was my sales guy. i am not going to rate the service or dealership over there as I did not go to thepoint to buy the car. I just want to say that Ken Shader is a great sales person and was very patience to answer my question unlike others who kept on talking and don't let you think on what you want. Ken Shader was great. He quickly responded to my 2010 RAV4 online inquiry and was very professional. His quote was not the lowest but I promised to see him before we buy the car. Unfortunately, Ken was not at the dealership when my husband and I went in. We walked the grounds checking on the cars for about 10 minutes; no one met us on the lot. We saw 2 men in the showroom facing the entrance looking at us, who didn't make a move nor greet us until we're closer to them wherein Jeff approached and returned our greeting. We stated our business, test drove the RAV4 and fell in love with a 2010 Blizzard Pearl 4Runner SR5 that was parked on the lot when we came back. I gave a hypothetical buying price to Jeff and had our Corolla appraised for trade in so I can calculate the monthly. All figures were hypothetical and even asked him for his price for the car or the figure we're looking at but we were surprised, Jeff didn't give us the trade value of the Corolla which his Manager looked at, nor the lowest price he can go on the 4Runner SR5, nor a monthly payment so we can decide if we want to take home that 4Runner or not. Not even his business card should be change our mind. He just told us that should be see that same vehicle for what price I thought it would go for and buy him 3. He didn't even ask to run our credit so he can base it from there. WOW.....SUPER WOW! Jim King did follow up the next day after Ken forwarded my email to Jeff and his manager. Jim gave us the final price on the car and the value of the trade. Unfortunately, we were already on our way to Jerry's Toyota in Baltimore, MD were we bought our 2010 Black 4Runner SR5.
