The service manager was horrible. I tried to speak to him on several different days about the issues with my vehicle. They initially wanted to charge me for an electrical issue that one of their mechanics caused. When I told them they were the only people to work on my car, I was told “we don’t know that.” They pulled up the car facts a few days after I asked them to look into the history of my car (which they told me they couldn’t do) and discovered they did a botched job when I brought my car in over a year ago which was causing my current electrical issues. The service manager was not understanding or compassionate at all. When I told him what the service advisor said to me, he responded that’s “she’s new here and a woman.” He didn’t apologize on his own or try to improve my experience. I will never recommend Hawk Ford in Oak Lawn to anyone. No one deserves the sexist, racist experience I went through. More

TERRIBLE, no follow up on status of repair or when parts are coming in. Contacted parts department to find out delivery date of parts and the parts person could not see any that where ordered for my vehicle are coming in. Try to get a hold of someone in service to answer my questions but no luck. Called 3rd time a talked to a female that took my information on my problem, she said she would look into it and call me back......still waiting. I knew this experience was going to go this way after the first time I brought my vehicle in and had very Is laxadaysical and ignorant service manager. My vehicle sat for over a week just so he can tell me that they could not find anything wrong. After picking the vehicle up, I drove about 20 mile and check engine light came back on. So I drove back to the dealer and had the service manager get a technician to read the computer code. After the diagnostic check the technician found that both catalytic converters were failing. I ask The service manager about how long would take to be repaired and the answer i received was, about 4 month, will let you know. The answer I received was less then professional and very snippy. So bottom line still waiting for a phone call on the status of my repair. More
I’ve had a terrible experience with Hawk Ford. Customer service is horrendous. Bought a 2021 f150 lariat for 70k ,after a couple of months truck started having some issues with oil pressure.
