Took it in for an oil change, which was fine, and faster than what I was quoted it would be. When it was done the advisor gave me the print out "with a lot if things that need addressed" I am aware that it than what I was quoted it would be. None of the recommendations or findings were gone over. Once I got back to my car and began looking at the report there were pages worth of what they stated needed service and quotes for said services, including "excessively low power steering fluid" I kind of laughed to myself at the phrase excessively low, because I thought if that were the case they would have told me about it or pointed it out in particular. I also found it funny that last time there was no suggested service, and now that I am beyond 60,000 miles there was all this service that magically needed to happen. A day or two later while talking to my brother about it he decided to look under the hood, and found that there truly was almost no power steering fluid, which shocked me because A. The car was driving fine, and B. It is garaged daily and has no signs of leaks, but what shocked me even more was that a dealer who sold me the car and provided service on it allowed me to drive away knowing that the level was that low without specifically making it known to me or discussing having fluid added while it was there. That is what truly angered me and makes me distrust the service and not want to return for future service. Had someone said hey, it's due for service, this is what we've found, and in particular your fluid is extremely low, we can add it, or you need to add it asap, I would have said ok, made a decision and moved on, appreciating the transparency, communication and quality of service, but that is not what happened.
