Gave them a second chance but I called about my vehicle having a squeak when braking in reverse (still under factory warranty). I was told to bring it in and it would be about 45 mins to check the brakes. I asked if I needed an appointment and was told no. When I arrived that afternoon the person who checked me in sighed heavily when I said I didn't have an appointment. I told him if it was going to take "hours' then I would rather schedule and appointment and come back another time. He said it would be fine. I checked the vehicle in at 2 pm and was still there at 5:30 pm. I really didn't have that time to waste and if I'd known would indeed have made an appointment. I was told they couldn't replicate the problem. As soon as I got home I realized the squeak was still there. I called and this time made an appointment for them to look again. Upon checking in I told them I was going to be in the neighborhood doing a couple of errands, had my cell phone and please call me when it was ready and I would be back within an hour or so. When I came back an hour and a half later (no one called) I saw the van parked on the forecourt. I asked if it was ready and was told they "didn't know I was waiting for it" and they hadn't even started!!! So more wasted time. This time they said they could replicate the problem but the rear rotors are 'glazed' and this "might" be causing the squeak. They said it would be $150 to resurface them and recheck as brakes are not covered under the factory warranty past 12,000 miles. Forget it. I'll go to me regular, trustworthy, timely mechanic. What terrible service! More
