From Undecided to Decided I entered Lindsay Ford not expecting to buy a new truck and left in a new truck, which I think says a lot. I was met by Kevin Oliver, who answered all I entered Lindsay Ford not expecting to buy a new truck and left in a new truck, which I think says a lot. I was met by Kevin Oliver, who answered all my questions and helped me test the vehicles I was considering. Kevin and Sarah Byrd then helped me find a truck in inventory that had the options I ultimately wanted (and a few more) and Sarah worked through pricing until we had a deal that worked. So instead of a scouting/pricing visit, it wound up being a purchasing visit, and I'm very happy with the result. More
Worth the drive from NoVa. I don't write a lot of 5 star reviews, but I have to give it up to Sarah Byrd, Assistant GM and her team at Lindsay Ford. They made my drive from Lee I don't write a lot of 5 star reviews, but I have to give it up to Sarah Byrd, Assistant GM and her team at Lindsay Ford. They made my drive from Leesburg, VA to Wheaton to purchase an F150 worth it with their full service, caring attitudes and competitive pricing. It total, it beat out the other guys. Our sales associate, Ysser Touko is top notch and I highly recommend asking for him when you call. He's knowledgeable about the vehicles, takes time to understand what you're looking for and why, and he also understands his dealership's internal processes which saves a lot of time. Ysser is also a humble guy - which is refreshing. The Finance office was very helpful in securing financing and shopping for the best rates. If you're in the market for a Ford, I'd highly recommend seeing these guys at Lindsay in Wheaton. Fun Fact: the state of MD caps the processing fees on car sales. So when the 'other guys' in VA are charging $800, Lindsay can save you money there too. For the people giving negative reviews, maybe you did have a bad experience, but it's probably more that you're not asking the right questions or have the wrong expectations when buying a car. Internet pricing is so competitive in today's online market. Do your research and be prepared with a 'walk away' number. More
Closing out the decade with a new Ranger I can't say that this was a spur of the moment decision to purchase a new Ranger on the 31st, but it was not until the 31st that I made contact with L I can't say that this was a spur of the moment decision to purchase a new Ranger on the 31st, but it was not until the 31st that I made contact with Lindsay Ford. Following an email inquiry that morning, I received a phone call not long thereafter. After some hemming and hawing, I decided to drive down to take a look at it, having received an email confirmation of our phone call. The drive took about an hour and a half with lots of holiday traffic. After the test drive, we talked numbers. In the end, I could not work out a trade figure that suited me, but that is something that everyone should anticipate. A dealer takes a chance that the cars they purchase used won't gather dust on their lots. We ironed out a few 'kinks' with the figures, and I ended up taking the Ranger home. In less than 2 weeks I have also sold the car I had considered trading. The negotiations were friendly, personable, and successful. Selling a car/truck is tough work, and buying one is demanding as well. I would like to thank everyone at the dealership with whom I had direct and indirect contact. More
Online price is just a tactic...not honored Is zero stars a possible rating? Don't believe this place. They advertised the cost of a Ranger online at 32,736. I received an email from Anthony Is zero stars a possible rating? Don't believe this place. They advertised the cost of a Ranger online at 32,736. I received an email from Anthony B. (I have his name but not writing the full one here) confirming we were interested. I explained we had an hour drive there so wanted to confirm the advertised price was what we were paying and not a price with every possible rebate included. He emailed me confirming the price. We get down to the dealership, take the test drive. Looks good. We sit down guess what....37,000+. A finance manager, wish I could remember her name came over and started her nonsense. "I'm trying to help you and really get you to that number." She then asked me what payment amount I was looking for, I said don't worry about the payment I negotiate on price. She said "Oh I guess you're happy with 9% then!". While this is going on another Ford dealership called me, we had inquired about their truck too. The finance woman got upset that I was disrespecting her, that her time was worth money. So was the hour I spent driving down to get lied to. I told her I had an email confirming my story, she printed it out, walked over and said "This email?" and showed me our email thread. Yes. She said well he shouldn't have said that and I'll have that information on the web deleted. Enter the next sales person who comes back and says...I got it to $36,000. The Ford incentives expired and we didn't realize it. Nonsense, they told me on the test drive, today is the last day of incentives, so they knew what they were doing. I said $32,736, not a penny more. This went back and forth and I finally said...it's $32,736 or we leave. We left. For the record, we bought the truck from the other dealership the next day; for $33,000 and it had way more features. If they decide to respond and dispute this story, I'll just show you the email thread where they promised a price and lied. Oh and Anthony....he never actually helped us...passed us off to another guy who had a new person with him going through training. Here's some advice to that young man...find another dealership. If they treat customers this way, can't imagine how the employees are treated. More
New F-150 I was shopping for used F-150 for weeks. As the year end was approaching, Ford's incentives started to increase. Lindsay Ford had a couple of new I was shopping for used F-150 for weeks. As the year end was approaching, Ford's incentives started to increase. Lindsay Ford had a couple of new 2019's at the same price as the used ones. I had been comparing cars on the internet for weeks......... each time I tried to get to a bottom line "on the road price", no one wouldn't do that.... until I called Eduardo and Sarah at Lindsay Ford. I was able to get the on the road price. I confirmed it via email, and the next morning made my 2.5 hour drive to purchase the vehicle. The price that was confirmed, was the exact price I walked out the door with. I will be back next year with my son so he can buy his very own F-150 or Ranger with the incredible incentives... Thanks Eduardo and Sarah! More
New Car Pricing Not Exactly What It Seems!!! The dealership had the exact vehicle I was looking for in terms of color and equipment. What became somewhat puzzling is the price that was listed on The dealership had the exact vehicle I was looking for in terms of color and equipment. What became somewhat puzzling is the price that was listed online, versus what was offered subsequent to all rebates posted, The pricing definitely ticked upwards on the scale when I was told the final price. This was somewhat disappointing, as there were two other dealers in the area that nailed down the price on pre-approval, However the vehicles were not the right color, or were lacking in some pertinent equipment. As a result my monthly payments were higher than I expected for my current budget. They are able to provide financing especially if your FICO score isn't at the top of the chart, but not in the cellar either. They were able to deliver my vehicle later in the day, since I had drove myself to the dealership. More

Both included all rebates that most consumers do not qualify for. Actual prices were significantly higher! I walked out! There are many other car dealers out there that give actual quotes. I would never buy a car from Lindsay Dealers! More
