What Others Say

Said my power seat that wouldn't work needed the tracking replaced for nearly $2000. Reaearched it myself and just needed to replace the switch for $15. They also said my wipers were worn and wanted to replace them for $120. I had just replaced them the day before! Contacted them but nobody is doing anything about this. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

It is such a pleasure to have an experience justifying a 5 star review. I drove my car for over 16 years mostly because I hate buying cars. There was NO endless waiting “while I ask the manager”. There were NO additional costs for extra dealer add-ons, just the expected registration fees and sales tax. Kevin, Dabo, Keren and others made the car buying experience actually enjoyable. From the test drive and answering my endless questions to the sales and financing contracts, they were kind, patient, knowledgeable and totally transparent with NO pressure. Thank you Lindsay Ford of Wheaton, MD.

Was very impressed with the vehicle as displayed on the web and even put paperwork in sight unseen. It took an additional 4-1/2 hours to finalize everything. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front and ready for a test drive. While you would think knowing we were coming in that morning that they would prep the vehicle to showcase it in the best way, This was not the case. A layer of dust was all over the vehicle, making it difficult to walk and review the vehicle. While I understand that this is a used vehicle the passenger door was missing its lock actuator. (Dealer promised to order and install) The mirrors needed to be swapped out, because one didn’t work. The middle rear brake light was broken but operational. (Dealer promised to order and install) The rear door rubbed and made noise when opening, until I adjusted the door. The passenger windows glass is scratched, along with the trim. Again I understand it’s a used vehicle! The Carfax is clean but the front lights have scratches that are consistent with damage from an accident, which I am going to have to replace. There was no movement on the price and I left $600 on the table with my trade. While some will say that’s my fault you are correct. But the vehicle was not purchase ready. Which was disappointing. This is my 2nd used vehicle purchase and I should have done a better job reviewing the vehicle. I don’t regret the purchase. Just feel that with the items we have found after taking it home, that the price should have been adjusted to accommodate these out of pocket expenses.

AVOID this shop. These guys don't know what they're doing and they are terrible at communicating. Specifically John Kernan IV. They had my truck in their shop on two occasions and couldn't figure out why the engine was leaking oil even after having it for almost 5 weeks altogether. They kept telling me to bring it back after 1000 miles for more diagnostics. They were clearly just lazy because I took it to another mechanic and they immediately found gasoline inside the spark plugs and recommended spark plug and fuel induction service, among other engine maintenance that seems to have been overlooked by Ford service techs. Save yourself the trouble and take your car elsewhere.

Sold the car I had paperwork and insurance on to someone else and didn’t tell me. Do not waste your time, energy, or money on this shady dealership. They do business in bad faith and hate when you don’t want to finance through them!

Tom Squire has been our salesman for many years and assisted us with the purchase of 2 explorers he is patient, kind and overall just the BEST around!! Highly recommend Lindsay Ford and especially Tom
