I visited the dealer today (10/25/21) I told them straight forward that my bank was going to finance (My wife works for that bank) and we wanted to look at a couple of cars. The sales woman told me t straight forward that my bank was going to finance (My wife works for that bank) and we wanted to look at a couple of cars. The sales woman told me that there was an automatic $2000 penalty if you did not finance with them. She gave us 2 options for cars that the could honor the advertised price if they were not to finance. One had damaged in all the right side of the car and the other one had a extreme smell of cigarette. We left the dealer, it was raining and while we were at the metro, the sales woman called again and offer to show us options and told us that they could do the sale at the advertised price,we came back, after we picked a car, she told us again that she had to do $2000 extra on the car. The rain got really bad and we left the dealer again, my wife and I got rained on we ended up calling an uber to get home and the whole experience was horrible. I looked on their website and there are no disclosures of any kind saying that you are obligated to get the finance to get that price. it only mentions the taxes and a $500 processing fee. I will call the county to follow up with a complaint but I wanted to share my experience. It was really bad and I cannot recommend this place. More
This dealership engages in sneaky and deceptive practices! I went to purchase a vehicle that was advertised on their website for a certain price. Once I told them that I had my own financing I was practices! I went to purchase a vehicle that was advertised on their website for a certain price. Once I told them that I had my own financing I was told I could only receive the advertised price if I used their financing, which is not listed in writing anywhere. They even admitted that they could not provide it in writing. Additionally they force a $2000 Blue Oval maintenance plan onto the price of the car. I told them several times that I did not need or want the plan but was informed it is standard on all of their cars. The manager came over and recited the same spiel and indicated he could "GUARANTEE" that his banks could match or beat the interest rate offered by my credit union so I completed the credit application. They then proceeded to run 5 inquiries on my credit resulting in an immediate 22 point decrease of my credit score. The finance manager came back with a rate that was 2.5% higher than my credit union and stated that if I financed with them they would lower the price of the car in order to compensate for the higher interest rate. I told him what price I was willing to pay and indicated in no uncertain terms that I was not interested in the Blue Oval plan. He then left and came back with an offer of a $1000 discount which would have resulted in a car note of $100 more per month than if I used my own financing. I was also told that if I used my financing the cost of the car would increase by $2000. This place is a rip off! I would not recommend them to anyone!! More

Going to this dealership is always a trial. The first time I took my vehicle there for very simple scheduled repairs, they kept it for over a week, continuously telling me that the necessary technicians time I took my vehicle there for very simple scheduled repairs, they kept it for over a week, continuously telling me that the necessary technicians were not available. They were never able to explain why they made an appointment with me and took my car if they did not have the manpower to do the repairs ($$$). On this last visit, they overcharged me over $150 for spark plug replacement (spark plugs are less than $10, apparently the base rate for this service is $350, regardless of how long it actually takes them to complete). When I inquired as to this obscene markup, they said "You wouldn't expect to pay Macy's prices at Nike." When I explained I would need a payment plan to make the payments as they were far higher than necessary, the man said "Well your car will be here when you're ready to pay the full bill." If you want to be targeted by predatory pricing and apathetic employees, by all means, go to Ford Wheaton. If not, go anywhere else. More
